ReplyDeleteThese are just gorgeous, BJ! I used to collect old quilts I would find at antique shops, unfortunately my kids loved to use them and dragged them all over the house until they were beyond repair. I should have just kept them on my quilt rack with a DO Not Touch sign! Yours definitely would make some very pretty cards!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
These are beautiful photos and QUILTS! I love the titles too!
ReplyDeleteHell BJ,
ReplyDeleteHow I love the many cute prints on your quilt. I see some of my favorite Mary Engelbreit fabrics.
Oh, this is so sweet!
Happy moving, my friend,
Blessings,
Carolynn xoxo
I LOVE quilts. I have one on my bed year round. I have a couple that are store bought, but my favorites are the ones I have that were made by my Grandmother and Great-Grandmother.
ReplyDeleteYour quilts are beautiful!
Such great photos of your gorgeous quilts. I like the sayings you put under them as well - especially the last one. Now that's sassy!
ReplyDeleteYour quilts are just beautiful and I love the quotes! I love quilts, too, but I'm afraid JCP makes mine! I do have one that my grandmother made that I treasure.
ReplyDeleteHi BJ,
ReplyDeleteI love your quilt...quilts are made with love for sure.
Its so fun playing with patterns and color while designing a quilt. You did a great job with yours.

I have to be the world's greatest quilt lover. I have way too many, vintage and new. I do not sleep with them next to me. I have a blanket between. I am very protective of my quilts. Do not overdo it.
ReplyDeleteYour quilt note cards are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThose are note cards I would love. Gorgeous, BJ.
ReplyDeleteThe quilt is beautiful. The quotes are awesome. Love it all!
ReplyDeletePretty quilts. I just love quilts. Especially the kind that were made by an ancestor with scraps from dresses I recognize. They seem to tell a story bring back fond memories.
ReplyDeleteBJ, I love these quilt notecards. They are beautiful! Pamela
ReplyDeleteLOL- No wonder none of my family ever needed Prozac-they were busy quilting. I recognize several of those old fabrics. Your photos are gorgeous and would make beautiful cards- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteBJ,

BJ: I just love your quilt and those are some cute quilt sayings. Your quilt blog reminded me that I have a quilt I would like to use.
ReplyDeleteI have a quilt problem, hope you can help me. I inherited a quilt that my mother had won in a raffle. It is a beautiful quilt that mom used on her bed. Unfortunately she stained it with her blood when she was dying of pancreatic cancer. That was ten years ago. I would like to use it but have no idea how to clean it. My question is "How do I get ten year old blood stain out of the quilt?"
Hope you or one of your blog friends can help. I would love to post mom's quilt in my blog once it is clean and free of blood.
Oh BJ what a beautiful quilt. The fabric is great - have some of the same fabric. I just love quilts. I gave my neighbor tons of material as I had a fabric store here at my house and was decluttering. Barbara makes lap quilts for the veterans hospital or seniors so I thought she would use the material - and she does. She has a quilting machine.
ReplyDeleteI was in the hospital and iI got out she gave me a beautiful quilt for my bedroom that she had made from my material.
But I really like yours a lot!
Hugs
Mary
I am so very lucky to have the quilts made by Grandmother and you! I'll love them forever! (and you know i will! haha)
ReplyDeleteJust dropped in from the note card party. I love your quilts. I have a couple of old store bought ones that are falling apart. I wish I had your talent!!
ReplyDeleteI just love you BJ.....you really have my type of humor....I love quilts, I can't quilt...but, maybe I should learn.

Beautiful quilt pictures and thoughts. Love this post. SO funny-I did a quilt post this week too. Great minds think alike!
ReplyDeleteThe quotes are perfect and I believe them all. (Except for the last one...I'd need prozac if I did too much quilting.) What a wonderful idea for note cards! Thanks for participating even in the middle of all that's going on in your world.
ReplyDeleteI love your quilts! As you know I have just discovered quilting in the past year or two and I just love how pretty they make a bed look. So many colors and styles to choose from, I have a bunch in various stages of completion! Seeing your gorgeous 9 patch makes me want to make one just like it:>)
ReplyDeleteThose quilts are great! You must have an extensive collection!
