A Pork Chop Dream...

HI, EVERYBODY....

BACON is my # 1 Favorite meat..
HAM is # 2
PORK CHOPS rank # 3..
(gosh, I hope Earl over at HAPPIER THAN A PIG IN MUD isn't reading this post....
SORRY, EARL )

4 BONELESS PORK CHOPS

Salt and plenty of Cracked Black Pepper
(remembering that soup is salty, don't add much salt here)
1 can CREAM OF CHICKEN SOUP
1/2 can of Water
Bake, covered, for 2 hours at 350 degrees
and they are FALL APART TENDER.

Whip up a super good and fresh
GARDEN SALAD....

Ranch or Honey Mustard dressing is more than good
but
LEMON or LIME juice squeezed over the salad is just
delicious and calorie free.....
really brings  out the NATURAL flavor of the fresh veggies.

I keep FROZEN ROLLS
in the freezer most of the time...

OMYGOSH....
we love 'em

(I have a feeling THEY are not calorie free:)
A baked SWEET POTATO
topped with PINEAPPLE DREAM

Per potato:
1 TBS. Butter
A couple or three tablespoons of Brown Sugar
(depends on how sweet you want the topping)
Crushed Pineapple
(tonight I had about 8 pieces of chunk pineapple left from a fruit salad I made
the first of the week..Just mashed the chunks with a fork and added them,
with the juice.)
A dash of Cinnamon
A dash of Nutmeg
A dash of Vanilla
Pecans would be delicious, scattered over the top.
Just add all ingredients in a small saucepan or skillet and
cook until it's a little thick and caramelized around the edges of the skillet.
Pile it on the potato......

MAN O MAN !!!

Yum! I just fixed pork chops for dinner tonight except they were bone in. I found some apple salsa on my way home from NC last week and poured about half a jar over them. They were really good! Just with a green salad and bread and butter. But wish I had one of your sweet potatoes for dessert LOLOLOL Hugs to you!

Hi Bj, Yummy Yummy, the pork chops sound really good. I like the sweet potatoes too. I can eat them just baked with butter on them and if you want sweet just mix a little sugar and cinnamon together. Sprinkle it on top. I think I would like to try the sweet potatoes like yours. Have a wonderful day. Hugs and Prayers from your Missouri Friend.

We always ate pork chops like that growing up. I haven't made them in years. You've reminded me of how good they are.
My sister in law makes them with Cream of Golden Mushroom soup in a cast iron dutch oven. I didn't even know that kind existed until her, and it is goooood stuff.
I just ate tacos and I'm still cravin' the dang chops.

That looks delicious! I have always made pork chops with mushroom soup...now you've got me rethinking that.

Earl says-let's give chicken a chance!!! No, actually he understands, ya gotta love the pig:@) Dinner looks great BJ, I've been craving some pork chops myself lately!

I'm well known in my family for saying that the pig provides all the favorite meats I like to it. Pork tenderloin is my favorite, followed closely by pork chops.

Yours look yummy, and I love the idea of the topping for the baked sweet potato. It's like your own individual casserole!

(I just learned to love sweet potato casserole a few years ago.)

I'm not a pork fan, so I'll pass on the pork chops. But, I bought Rhodes rolls and apples this morning for that apple recipe. Now - if I can find it. *lol*

Well, now I'm hungry! I'm still working on the low calorie thing, so that potato almost killed me just looking at it! I used to use cream of mushroom soup and porkshops...poured mine over rice and covered it and when the meat was done, so was the rice and gravy. Yours look so yummy! Hope all is well at your house (houses)!
