2nd Wednesday BUNCO BABES

 NOOO, these aren't the
BUNCO BABES
but....aren't they so cute.

The lady hosting this month's BUNCO lives out in the country and I passed these cuties on the way....

had to stop and get a picture and they looked right into the camera...
GOTTA LOVE IT.

 This is BARBARA.....she taught us
            ALL WE KNOW ABOUT BUNCO..

Then there's IRENE....

isn't she a beauty for 76 yrs. old....

There's one of the prettiest Christmas Trees I've ever seen in my whole life in the background.
Now this little lady is the CA UTEST thing, ever....
she is 90 yrs old, lives alone, drives anywhere she wants to go...
and LOVES Bunco.
That's a BUNCO necklace she is sporting.

Every time one of us gets a BUNCO, we get to wear a cute necklace made out of fake dice...
just a fun thing to add to the flavor.

This is ARGIE and I and we BOTH have on BUNCO necklaces...

in fact, I ended up with TWO....but I didn't win any money...BUMMER !!

There's my TWO
silver BUNCO necklaces....
MARTHA is wearing a BUNCO necklace...
She and I have been friends for 32 years...
we worked together at a title and abstract office for about 10 years.
She just lost her husband a few years ago....

I am sorry to say that the only photo I got of EARLENE, our host, didn't turn out. I think someone hit my arm and the picture was blurry.

That's her back to us, tho. :)))
She and I have known each other since junior high school....she is one year younger than me.
THE NERVE !

She owns her own cake decorating company and had our tables set up in her work room...

very interesting......she can make the most beautiful cakes I've ever seen....very talented.

It rained all day on our Bunco Wednesday
and she had the most wonderful
SIRLOIN BEEF SOUP
and green salad.
I can't remember the name of the AWESOME pudding she had for us but I do
remember that she served a WHISKEY GLAZE with it and I had 2 rounds of it....
ummmmm
OOO, and peanut butter cookies

This is
JAN
our BUNCO QUEEN for JANUARY, 2013
.....just look at all those BUNCO necklaces.
She won a loooooot  of money. ! :)

GOSH, we have a good time together.
We are all so proud to have found each other and to be able to look forward
each month of getting together, having a good meal and all the fun it involves.

There's several ladies I didn't get pictures of this time...
next time around, tho.....FOR SURE. :)

Yes, ma'am....I do love my BUNCO BABES !!!!!

XOXO bj

RULES of  BUNCO:
Standards widely recognized are: There are six rounds, progressing in order from one to six, where the number of the round serves as the target for that round's rolls. Within a round, players alternate turns rolling three dice, aiming to obtain the target number. Players gain one point for each die matching the target. If the player gets three-of-a-kind of the target number (a Bunco), they get 21 points. The round stops when a player at a head table obtains 21 points. Whoever wins the most rounds is the overall winner

  11. I wanna be a Bunco Babe, and get to go to somebody's pretty house, and see precious goats, and eat a yummy lunch!! It looks like soooo much fun. So, I want to join. Is it necessary to actually know how to play Bunco, or can I just come to see the goats, and eat lunch??
