BUNCO BLAST OFF

Our monthly BUNCO games were held at my house this month and let me just say....
WE HAD A BLAST.....
It was sooo much fun getting things ready for MY SWEET FRIENDS.
IF you can believe it, :>) my color theme was
BLACK AND WHITE, with RED...
...black mats with checked napkins
...checked mats with black napkins
...and the bright and happy RED table.
At each table, I had little black and white CHRISTMAS ORNAMENTS as little centerpieces and under one chair at ea table was taped with WINNER.
The person sitting in that winner chair took home the two ornaments.
Very inexpensive but such fun....:))
Serving off my large dining table, I placed BLACK  and WHITE placemats around the table, willy nilly style, to set food and dishes on randomly.
Seems just about everyone likes beef stew, with crackers or cornbread
so that was the main dish at this swingin' party.
Mr. Sweet is one good salad maker and he outdid himself with THIS one.
We all just loved it.....killer green salad with strawberries and grapes added...
Thank ya, Mr. Sweet...and thanks for all the help you gave me getting the
cottage all primped and primed and lookin' good for my friends.

I made CORNBREAD MUFFINS (yes, I know the Muffin Man :).....
much easier to serve, I think.
These were made with BUTTERMILK and .....O HONEY
 ...aren't they just adorable !
O....and, don't let us forget.... ......SWEETS FOR THE SWEETS
CHOCOLATE TRUFFLE CAKE, sprinkled with Pecans
3 ingredient PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES
and BANANA BREAD.
We had a wee bit left and I had a piece, warmed and smothered in butter
with my DUNKIN DONUTS COFFEE for breakfast this morning. :)
What a great way to start the day.
and.....OUR VERY OWN BETTY, THE BUNKO QUEEN of the
2nd WEDNESDAY BUNKO LADIES
We have all these amazing and colorful Bunko Necklaces and every time
one gets a BUNKO, she gets to wear the necklace of her color choice.
WELL...take a look at our QUEEN for NOVEMBER GAMES...
SHE is sporting FOUR (4) BUNKO NECKLACES...
and she went home with M.O.N.E.Y.
YAHOO....what a great time.

I love this! I play in a Bunko group too, but instead of beads we have two Tiaras that we pass around when a person gets a Bunko. We may "borrow" your bead ideas, just to change things up a bit.

Black and white with bursts of red for accent. My absolute favorite color combo. Truly.
You have a beautiful home and if you are ever thinking of taking on an "adventure", you could consider becoming a party planner. You would be awesome.

I've only played BUNCO once, I had never heard of it until I moved to Texas... it's fun because you don't really have to think about the game but you get to have great fellowship! Very cool! ;)

What a good time you all must have had. Is Mr.Sweet allowed to stay? =) I think the two of you make the perfect host and hostess. (Speaking of Hostess, have you gathered in all the Twinkies and Devil Dogs you can find? My daughter has. Hostess owns Drake, too.)
