October being BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH,
so many people are chipping in with vast amounts of PINK.
A favorite PINK to eat..... BERRY BURST ICE CREAM OREOS
I don't notice them in stores until around this time....
are they just doing PINK to FIND THE CURE
or are these cookies on the shelves all the time ...??

I truly wish you had NOT shown me those Oreos with the pink filling! That's all I can think of now. So glad people are getting serious about breast cancer awareness.

Hi bj, love your pink for cancer awareness. Th Oreo's look so good.I haven't seen them but to tell the truth I am staying away from sweets. Except for extra 'sweet' you. Johnny Depp is looking good to me though!!!

We're pretty lucky up here - up to the age of 50 the clinics call every year to remind every woman to have a mammogram - they are included in our universal health care. After 50 a reminder note comes every other year. Of course one doesn't have to have a mammogram, but I always have one just to keep abreast of the state of my health.
(can you believe I wrote that bad pun???)
Well, I just don't think that I have ever seen pink Oreos before! :)

Great post! And Depp is a cute cookie. Is this a current photo? He looks much better than other (recent?) photos I've seen of him. He is one talented guy - surprises me sometimes when I see another of his older movies. I love him in Alice & Wonderland and the one with Angelina Jolie, The Tourist (?)

Pink is such an appealing color, the color of awareness in October. Breast cancer hits home a lot, and happily Patti is full of health and cancer free (as per the latest report this week). Awareness is what we seek, and the hint of pink means that there is hope. Patti was in another walk today in Naugatuck CT, the second this month. WE cannot be reminded enough of the beauty and hope of pink!
Pink Oreos, never seen those but they look yummy.
In past years in the month of October our local diagnostics imaging center would run a special on mammograms ($99), but this year they are not doing that. I called a couple of weeks ago to schedule an appointment and was quoted a price of $280. I was shocked!
Three Cheers for you, bj, for honoring all of friends and family who are struggling with breast cancer. One of my sisters is a BC survivor (2 yrs )and I pray for her continually. I'm so glad you are a praying gal...and, I'm so glad you're my blogging friend.
