A neutral, natural CENTERPIECE

Hello to all....
What a busy week we had around here last week.....just lots going on at Sweet Nothings.

I'm packing away a lot of dishes and such that I never use except for an occasional tablescape. But, during all this packing, nesting, clearing out and cleaning, I wanted to
play around  with another fallish centerpiece for our table.
*WARNING...
PHOTO OVERLOAD
sorry.......:(
Since neutral centerpieces and such are so popular now, I decided to give it a try......
AND TO BE HONEST,
this set of the cutest little wire baskets I've ever seen.....

is the very reason I wanted to
"do something" cute for a tabletop
or my dining room table...

These little cuties were at HOBBY LOBBY'S 50% off sale ....
little wooden handles....
3 different sizes wire baskets....
"...there was a Papa Bear, a Mama Bear and a little tiny Baby Bear"

YEP......
right there for all to see, standing in the middle of one of the largest stores in my town....HOBBY LOBBY,
I FELL KNEE-DEEP in LOVE !

I thought these little cuties would be a great start on a neutral, natural centerpiece....
and at this point, I thought that just about ANYthing (or even maybe NOTHING) would look great in these baskets.
I have been thrilled hundreds of times that I had the sense to
order this beautiful BURLAP table runner from my sweet friend,
She does some of the finest work I've seen and if you should have time,
you might want to check out her amazing ETSY shop and .....her fabulous prices.
With CHRISTMAS  about to knock our door down, she has some great
gift ideas...and there still MIGHT be time to get in a CUSTOM order or two.
The burlap lends a HUGE hand in my designing a NEUTRAL, NATURAL centerpiece...
I walked right out in a COTTON FIELD beside my daughter's house
and helped myself to a tiny bit of fluffy, soft, white
COTTON in their BOLLS.
Ya can't get much more NATURAL than that...!!
I added a big beautiful BURLAP bow to the top of the two larger baskets....

WELL....

HELLO, GOOD LOOKIN'
I put a few faux pumpkins inside the two baskets...
I will add the REAL thing a little later....
....right now, they are doing their duty in another grouping...:)
 ...and candle light......ALWAYS candle light.
 UMMMM...what have we here...... ???
An awesome ROOSTER plate, encrusted with the cutest little
BLACK with White POLKA DOTS...
with A SIDE OF
 COUNTRY ORANGE CINNAMON ROLLS....
O HONEY
I am liking this table more and more and more.......:))
Mr. Sweet, while looking over my shoulder, says THIS is when the tabletop
starts lookin' MIGHTY FINE...
(oh dear...we are soooo INTO food)

ahhhh.....the REAL little BOO.....with all it's CURLY Q  sassiness...
much better, thank you very much.

 HOLY COW >>>>
I think this is a great photo....not due to MY camera talent by a LOOONG shot...., but
THE SUBJECTS.
Textures all over the place...

Several bloggers friends, one in particular that I love to the moon and back, accuses me
(in a loving and fun way)
of "taking pictures of everything that goes in your mouth"

I wonder.....
am I the only person on the planet that thinks certain FOODS
are PRETTY...???
.....how fun to add a cute little
HAPPY JACK-O-LANTERN paper napkin.
I had a lot of fun putting my natural pieces together to make
a pretty table top.
To be perfectly HONEST, tho...
I had much more fun eating these ORANGE CINNAMON ROLLS.....:>)

I hope you have an ORANGE CINNAMON ROLL kind of week.
XOXO bj

Sharing and supporting these parties...I hope YOU will go over and visit a bit.

Those are the cutest little baskets, so many possibilities. Great pics. Those cotton bolls are pretty. You may need to raid that field (just a little) for some more. Mmmm, and orange cinnamon rolls on a rooster plate. Everything in your pics is my idea of perfection.

Congrats to Donnie! Food pictures are pretty. That's why I get into trouble the minute I read a cookbook or look at a magazine or visit here. Hmmm...

Sweet centerpiece, always great photography, and fun banter. That's why I love it here.

Thoses CINNAMON ROLLS are looking so tasty on that pretty rooster plate with the black and white. My mama said I was scared of cotton when I was a baby so to keep me from changing the radio the put cotton on it.

Last week was kind of a bust, but THIS week is starting out to be an orange cinnamon roll kind of week. Hope it lasts.

And I really love the centerpiece. That is exactly the way I like fall to look around here. I'm a big fan of using cotton, too. I generally beg a bit off my farm sister.

Cute baskets! So many possibilities. Love that rooster plate. What is there about roosters, anyway! They are just so Americana. Now I'm going to be on the lookout for a rooster. :-) Fun post and beautiful photos.

I love your baskets and the use of the cotton. We used to have so many cotton fields but most are gone now. It is so sad.

Again thank you! You keep having fun with changing Headers. (So cute one today, btw.) But you keep the cute flying witches, flying. Maybe 'cause I have so much fun, seeing them...
