~ POT ~

As you know, POTTING BENCHES have been on my feeble mind a LOT lately.
After cruising Blogland in search of all the Potting Beauties around,
I have some GREAT....nay....FANTASTIC photos to share with you.
WARNING...lots of "eye candy photos"

YES....THIS post is all about POTTING BENCHES
or just a  POTTING
WORKSPACE.

Get ready to see some eye candy that will
KNOCK YOUR SOX OFF.
I am just amazed at how much personality shows up in a simple potting bench.

Bloggers are so awesome and have such great ideas and just impress the pants right off me.
I've never had so many HEROS in my life.....and I
am loving every minute of it.
How I would love to meet these ladies in person.....I am pretty sure I would bow, kiss their hand and fall to my knees in front of them......

"Gardening requires lots of water - most of it in the form of perspiration."  ~Lou Erickson
at Elizabeth and Company.
I LOVE the green color...
and all the things around it.
That AZALEAS sign is PERFECT for this spot...and the galvanized buckets are adorable.
I have to find some of those, Elizabeth...too cute.
I am looking forward to seeing MORE photos of this workspace.
Thanks so much for sharing this with us...
You are going to have so much fun with it and that's what it's all about...

"What a woman needs in gardening is a cast-iron back, with a hinge in it. " ~Charles Dudley Warner, My Summer in a Garden, 1871

Altho this isn't her potting bench, it's  an adorable shelf
on her fence and it would make a FANTASTIC potting bench.
It never dawned on me that shelves attached to the fence could be
this cute, MINDY.
The NEXT photo IS her potting bench that her hubs made for her....
O, Mindy....it is so stinkin' cute.
No wonder you love it to pieces.
I love it, too.
The vintage window takes it all right over the top of CHARM.
THIS is her gorgeous outdoor room and I am just about EAT UP with envy.....:)
I LUV it so much...so comfy and full of charm...and, I don't care what you say, MINDY...
I kind of like that coffee table with the WARP. :))
It might pose a problem with sitting my cup of coffee down on it, but, what the heck...
for THAT kind of cuteness, I'll just hold my cup. :))

MINDY has a LOT going on in her cute backyard paradise
that I would love for you to check out.
Please tell her bj said HEY.

AUDREY also has A LOT of awesomeness to share with us..
AUDREY at TIMELESS TREASURES doesn't have only the cutest
potting bencheS......yep.....MORE THAN ONE.....
...she has an entire TWO ROOM potting shed with ALL KINDS of adorable
things around and in it...
for instance...take a look at these amazing metal TUBS full of GREENESS.
*heart beating a little faster here
...and this ROSES sign...just perfect in it's spot.
(I just wish I had saved some of my OLDEN license  plates...
Good Lord...mine go all the way back to 1959....)

You have to go over to see Audrey and check out this potting bench post
and read the cute story about the amazing sign.
So many of her treasures were given to her or were bought for a SONG.

This great chest with RED handles was a giveaway...
if anyone has something like this to GIVEAWAY,
Sweet Nothings
NEEDS
some more cuteness.
:>)
 GREAT BALLS OF FIRE....
the woman has WATER !!
I'd like to show you ALL her cuteness....decided, tho, that you need to
go over, visit, take a look around, have a glass of TEXAS SWEET TEA with
AUDREY and see for yourself ......I really hope to go meet Audrey some day and
see all her POTTING ENCHANTMENT in person.
"Thanks, Mizz Audrey, for sharing your adorable POTTING BENCH/STATION/HOUSE..
I so love the olden and pure vintage pieces that you have added to your space.
PERSONALITY  PLUS !
XOXO

I am sure all of you know KATE at CENTSATIONAL GIRL
Well, this woman BUILDS THINGS with the help of her MISTER.
Get a fresh cup of coffee and another piece of that DELICIOUS coffee cake and
find a comfy seat and
TAKE A  LOOK  AT  THIS.....

Kate and her Mister really
did a fantastic job on this beautiful potting bench. I think it's something like 6 ft. long.

She has more great photos of it
and gives links to directions for building this beautiful work horse.

Just imagine the pretty pots of flowers the girl is going to turn out....

bet her yard will be full of
wonderfulness...

Look at those cute water faucet knobs....
I LOVE THOSE....and, guess what.........
I KNOW WHERE TO GET THEM...
and you can get some, too.
ANYTHING GOES HERE ETSY SHOP
I've seen them on dressers, chests, walls....
endless possibilities.
Looking back, I see AUDREY also has some cute faucet knobs...
Stand back, folks, I am ordering some TODAY.

  THIS
BLUE BEAUTY
belongs to
SANDY at
THE WONDERS OF DOING.

I'm pretty sure she has a BLAST, potting on such an adorable bench....
and she could have looked
ALL DAY LONG
and not found a prettier BLUE to paint this lady with.
I also love that white table beneath...looks like it holds a
BUNCH of necessary supplies for
PRETTY PLANTS.

"Why try to explain miracles to your kids when you can just have them plant a garden."  ~Robert Brault

THIS cutie belongs to LINDA.
I love all the cuteness she's got going on here.

I also love your cute watering cans and those seed packets stuck in the olden window.

Again, it surprises me how much personality and charm a potting bench can have.

You did a great job on building a delightful work space, Linda.

I dearly love the use of the vintage window.

My sweet blogging friend, BETH of BEYOND THE GARDEN GATE  graciously shared
photos of her amazing POTTING BENCH.

I really like your watering cans....
the watermelon one is really unique and cute, Beth.

Beth has her bench  beneath her deck so it must be a lot cooler there.

Sure is a pretty, healthy, GREEN fern.....
must be the good water from the cute cans.:)
Thanks so much for sharing your pretty space with all of us, Beth.
Now, put on that cute hat and.......start potting.

This pretty potting set-up belongs to CARLENE at
ORGANIZED CLUTTER QUEEN.
That GERANIUMS sign
couldn't be more perfect for the spot....
and take a look at her awesome
WATERING CAN collection.
I am sooo envious !

Thanks, Carlene, for sharing your beautiful gardening area....
it is so
AWESOME.

This potting bench becomes a DRINK STATION when
MARLIS, of CREATIVE JOURNEY blog entertains.
She says as soon as the party is over,
PLANTS go back on her potting bench.
A great idea !
When she had a birthday party for MR. MARLIS, she gathered a lot of his
photos, taken throughout his life, and hung them with clothes pins and twine.
Great idea, Marlis.
Thanks so much for sharing this with all of us.
Marlis has a lot to share over at her place....drop over sometime.

I have something (table) I found in our garage. I spied it and sked Hubby where it came from. He said from the shed of the cottage we used to have. I need something for the back of it and it would make a perfect potting bench. I have it in all it's ugliness on my long front porch. I need to paint it a little. I have used it to plant flowers on and to paint things on.
Thanks for all the goodness in this post. WOW.
