Double The Pleasure

"Body and spirit are twins:  God only knows which is which."  ~Algernon Charles Swinburne
I am so in love with CHRISTINE'S  beautiful little twin grandgirls
that I asked her if I could PLEASE,..........pretty please with sugar on top,
do a post on them.
She, being the cute, sassy and very proud grandmother, said,
"but, of COURSE, bj."
♥ ♥
I know a lot of Christine's friends have read about her babies...
and probably have seen these adorable photos..
but..........
"It's double the giggles and double the grins, and double the trouble if you're blessed with twins. "
 ~Author Unknown
...look at those little long feet and toes...
I bet they grow up to be MODELS.
"It is not economical to go to bed early to save the candles if the result is twins."
~Chinese Proverb
HAHHHAAAA.....don't ya love it.
The one on the right is REA....
NO, Wait....the one on the right is HALLE....
NO....wait....
awwww...ya gotta go over to CHRISTINE'S and find out WHO's  WHO....
She LOVES to talk about them......can you see WHY ?
Meeee, too.
I could just KISS THEIR SKIN RIGHT OFF....!!
"Hearts entwined
Twenty fingers, twenty toes,
two sweet babies with cheeks of rose.
Born on the same day, two gifts from above,
lives entwined, two babies to love."
~Author Unknown

"I may be a twin but I'm one of a kind."  ~Author Unknown
(this is my very favorite quote for twins.:)

Have ya ever seen such a cute and young grandmother ?  She is so adorable....no wonder she had beautiful girls and grandgirls...
I can't remember if there's grandBOYS ?!!?

I KNOW how happy CHRISTINEY is .....
I, myself, am a grandmother of TWIN GIRLS. ♥ ♥
"I just copied this from my daughter's FB. My daughter said they are already like me, playing with their computer, lol."
Christine
Our 14 year old
TWINS
Two girls, perfect in every way
Two cries at the start of everyday
Two heads to kiss
Two faces to clean
Two angels to love
Two babies to wean
♥ ♥
Two lovely toddlers
Two sets of joy
Two girls when I thought
I was having a boy
Double the laughter
Double the light
Double the time to say
Night night.
♥ ♥
So don’t say to me
“Double the trouble”
Because it’s not, its double
The sparkle and double
The bliss.
Yes, it’s double the noise
and double the strife
but it’s so much more
It’s double the life.

Yep, they are cutie patooties! We know all about twins around here, too. Our daughter, who kept us tied in knots as a teenager, was "blessed" with twin girls almost "13" years ago -- I laugh gleefully as I watch her cope with being the mother of teenage twin girls! They really are delightful young ladies, but they do like to yank their mom's chain. LOL!

I agree, too cute. Twins have a bond no one else can understand.
I myself was a twin, my sister lived almost 3 hours. I have often wondered how different my life would have been if I could have shared it with her...

I don't know her blog so these sweet babies are all new to me- They are gorgeous little girls. Just so sweet and she is a beautiful grandmother. There were 6 sets of twins in my father's generation and so I keep hoping one of my kids will have twins, too! xo Diana

OMG! I might just stay here and linger for a long, long time. Thanks you so much for featuring my grand twins, BJ. Your grand twins are so pretty and it does not matter how grown up they are, they are still so precious, aren't they? I was just looking at the photos, so funny that the one on the left is Halle and the one on the right is Rea and it's never planned that way but all the pictures show them in that position. And to think that I almost did not make it here cause I have been so busy. 8 of my classmates from College are all coming tomorrow from all over the US and Canada and one all the way from the Philippines, so I have been busy tidying up. Thanks for letting me know about the post.....Christine

Or, should I say "double blessings"? Twins are such a gift from God. My family has been blessed with a quiver full of them, too...My younger sisters, first cousins, great nephews...How very wonderful they all are to me!
Your daughters are so lovely...so beautiful!
I hope you are having a lovely weekend!
Warm wishes,

ps. I, too, am praying for several of my blogging and flickr friends who are struggling with cancer. They are all mothers with young children. I pray God will heal them and give them renewed strength.

How cute! It is so special to have twins. My grandsons are identical twins born from invitro fertilization. My daughter was unable to conceive but went through IVF, two eggs were in planted, only one egg survived, it split and we had twin boys! A first for her IVF doctor. They are now 12 and are the best kids, never double trouble, only double sweetness. Thanks for sharing Christine's little blessings, they are adorable and your girls are beautiful.

Oh they are adorable! I'm sure that your friend is a happy, proud grandmother. (She really looks a little too young to be a grandmother. ;>)

John is the grandfather of twin girls. He's happy to tell you about them any day. They both serve in the U.S. army and are as beautiful as can be.

Your twin grandgirlies are a.d.o.r.a.b.l.e.

I just LOVE twins! Nope, don't have 'em in family. But I just love the whole idea of twins.

Mmmmmm, well, maybe not the part about having 2 new ones come into your life, at once! -giggles- One new one at a time, is a handfull. :-)

Slowly, silently, now the moon
Walks the night in her silver shoon;
This way, and that, she peers, and sees
Silver fruit upon silver trees...
