I wanted to play in the TARTAN PARADE over at SARAH'S
and, having NO plaids around Sweet Nothings,
I decided to use OLDEN photos on a NEW post for her party.
This plaid throw is all I could come up with for the party...
...but I have FABULOUS foods for the TAILGATE.
On this lovely summer day, I loaded up the back of my white SUV with all the cutie things I could find.
The awesome PICNIC BASKET with the red checked lining was a prize I won from our sweet
MICHAEL LEE several years ago.
See that bright BLUE PICNIC BASKET ...?
I bought it years and years ago at the BEST Estate Sale.
The BLUE BAND CROCK was bought about 10 years ago at the MARSHALL POTTERY FACTORY.
Wine and BLACK FOREST HAM and Provolone cheese SANDWICHES...
CHIPS
RIPE, RED PEARS
Thanks for coming along on the
TARTAN TAILGATING ....
Be sure to check things out at THE TARTAN PARADE.

I hope your SUNDAY and new week are filled with

Looks like a fun and delicious time. LOVE that blue picnic basket!
looks like it must have been a great time, lovely photos!I love the basket too, I collect picnic baskets,
A Tartan Tailgate Party sounds like the perfect way to celebrate, enjoy the parade.
We've got front row seats and a picnic!
Hi bj, Somehow I was thinking you would have lots of tartans, even though you live where the heat probably makes winter scarves and woolen blankets unnecessary! I think tartans and black and white usually work very well together! Well, your blanket and picnic basket are wonderful and I would love to have that scrumptious lunch! Linda
BJ, I knew you'd find something for the parade. A tailgate picnic is the perfect way to take in the sights and sounds of a good parade. Glad you brought along all those goodies. I'm starving!
Your picnic baskets are wonderful.
Thanks for joining the Tartan Parade, dear friend. ~ Sarah
I would love to go "tailgating" with you!!
Well, even if you don't have plaid I knew you would have good food! That's a given! I just visited Polo House, too. She has a LOT of plaids! xo Diana
What fun BJ. Me, I have nothing...been gardening. Love the plaid.

Ah, your tailgate party looks fabulous. And how can anyone tailgate without plaid! I just bought an old plaid blanket at the flea market today. I can just see it as part of a tailgate party! Thanks for joining the Tartan Party! ~Delores

I love your tartan contribution! I had let myself forget about the Tartan party. I'm so busy and distracted right now. Don't know if I have time to do anything right now, either. Drat. I hate to miss a party.
Well I'm sure it was a fabulous tailgate picnic BJ. I love the basket with the red and white, you can never go wrong with red and white. The sandwiches sound delicious.

BJ that is the most beautiful tail gate I have ever seen! I love both of your picnic baskets. I had a beautiful metal one that came with everything in it and I think I gave it away before I started blogging. Would love to have it again! Your blue one makes me want to paint one that same color!
I would LOVE to be a part of that tailgate party!
