THE MAN

His name is BUBBA WATSON and he just won THE MASTERS .
It was an exciting game...and he won it in a SUDDEN DEATH playoff.
He is my newest HERO
This is his first major win...
I bet he did this shot in shadows and shade just for my SHADOW SHOT 2 linky party fun...
.......don't you ?
:>)
He always uses a PINK driver....
♥ ♥ ♥
The driver is part of a year-long campaign sponsored by Ping. Every time Bubba drives the ball over 300 yards, Ping will donate $300 dollars to his charity. At $300 per drive for his first 300 drives over 300 yards -- that's a lot of 300s -- Watson stands to rack up $90,000 for his foundation, just for doing what he always does.
And, if you don't mind me sayin' so....
He is VERY easy on the eyes.....whew.....

This photo, taken right after his MAJOR win on EASTER SUNDAY,
is with his mom, Molly.
I know just how she feels....we are ALL so proud of our kids.

BUBBA is the proud owner of
THE GENERAL LEE
from the hit tv series of the 1979-1985
THE DUKES OF HAZZARD...

AND
The PROUDER OWNER of a tiny baby boy...
he and his beautiful wife just adopted a little sweetie.

THIS proves it....
REAL MEN DO WEAR PINK...!!...

Congratulations to Bubba and his wife. My father loved to watch golf. Whenever I see it on television, I think of him.

A lovely Friday to you and your family.

I know very little of this golfer. Guess that my knowledge of all things golf has been limited to a certain guy named Tiger. Thank you for the introduction.

Oh BJ I watched him win. I am always for Phil but I was very tickled when Bubba won on Easter Sunday. A get post highlighting him. He seems to be a good man.

I watched the end of the match and saw him win. I didn't see the picture of his wife and new baby. I bet she was upset about not being there but better off with the new little one. I hope he does well with his career now.

We watched him win, too. We could have gone one day to the masters, but hubby couldn't with his back.

I really like Mr. Watson - his family comes first, his profession second. To see someone who has his priorities in order is impressive. That's why his winning is so great, he is the anti Tiger. Family first, the way it should be!

My PINK..., have a great weekend!

We watched. He seems like a good man. I really like Phil mickelson though. I remember when everyone thought Tiger was so wonderful, not!

My man has had no problem wearing pink...and he looks better in the color than I do.

Great series of images shared to day. As always.

Hi bj, this is such a great post! He is a cutie indeed and seems so genuine and caring. Any boy who hugs his mom is good with me. Doesn't he look just like her in that shot??? Sometimes I call my baby boy (he just turned 20 but he will always be my baby boy) bubba. Have a great day bj. I love your newest header! Linda

Good Sunday morning bj, Thank you for you comment my dear sister friend. Yes, getting married when we did was just as meaningful as the elaborate weddings they have today. Probably more. Life was simpler back then. I miss that.

I loved your Bubba story. I did not know anything about him. He sure has my admiration now. This was a great share.
Happy PS and Sunday too.
Love, Jeanne

PS: We are putting a hurtin' on the cupcake papers. I love the muffin cookbook. Thank you again. Bill thanks you too.HA!
