PICTURE PERFECT

Our good bloggy friend, VEE, that lives with her beloved in a small town,
is having the BEST party and I wanted to join her in ....

Choosing ONLY FOUR favorites was MUCH harder than I thought it would be
but I loved going back thru my olden photos......lots of fun....lots of memories...
THANKS, VEE, for thinking of this fun PARTY....

The above photo was taken in my son, DAVID KEITH'S, beautiful VINEYARD.
I had two of my grandgirls helping me and we had such a great time that day.
I was very proud of this photo and even prouder when FIFI painted it.
I bought the painting, had it framed and gave it to son and family for Christmas.
Fifi's painting is on my sidebar.

The above photo was taken for my VALENTINE'S DAY MANTEL post this year and just takes my breath away every time I see it.
I think I love it especially because the olden books belonged to my mother, HELEN.
I am unsure just where she got them but I feel pretty sure that it was from either
a garage sale or an Estate sale.
I inherited my love for thrifting from her......
along with many, MANY other things....
like....
when we smile very big, our top gums show....so does my daughter's.
and like....
we both have a thin upper lip and a big, honkin' lower lip....
NOTHING like Angelina Jolee's......bummer.

I love this photo because, other than being just really pretty,
MR. SWEET said it was so lifelike that if he stuck his finger in that flame, it would burn him.
I am always thrilled to death to get such a good photo when all I have is a little
Point and Shoot camera.

and, I HAD to add THIS PHOTO...

THREE DIMENSIONAL  looking and.....
POWDERED SUGAR, WOMAN....
it just HAD to be here.
Thanks so much for the fun....!!
also joining in the fun at:

  7. I like all you choices, but the candle is the best. I have a painting that Fifi did for me. The one she did for you, is an excellent piece of work.

  8. Come link it up! Ignore my name being first because I didn't know if it would work and had to test it. I'm such a novice at this kind of thing.

Wowser! Now I just knew that you'd have four great photos to show. I don't think I've ever heard that vineyard story before and that Fifi painted a picture from that photo. That is so cool. Mr. Sweet is right. That flame would burn and if he kissed the last photo...he'd come back with sugar lips. :D
