Just a few little flowers

When I buy a bunch of supermarket flowers,
I stretch them just as far as they will go.

Once the BIG bouquet is  loosing it's
WOW POWER,

I start taking photos right and left in all sorts of settings.

Here's a few left overs, just sitting in water in a SOLO CUP.....

....see, they even look pretty in PLASTIC.
I plopped a few in my little tiny vintage pitchers....and did a PHOTO SHOOT
Why...I do believe they're POSING.
... a little MARCHING BAND of COLOR

And.....since I made
CANNED BISCUIT DONUTS
this morning,
THEY had their picture made with FLOWERS....

FLOWER POWER......

                                      IT'S AMAZING......
After the little bunch of flowers 'did their thing'

some of the other SOLO cups were jealous,
so they had THEIR picture made, too, with their favorite cookies....
MIXED BERRY OREOS.....
and a Raspberry Float.

Heavens, this post is just full of
FLOWERS
SWEETS
SOLO CUPS and
SILLINESS.
♥ ♥ ♥
 AIN'T LIFE GRAND !
I hope ya'll all have a wonderful weekend...
and....
HAPPY ST. PADDY'S DAY
XOXO bj

I do the same thing withmy bouquets. I take out the really bad flowers, recut any that an take another day or two and find something smaller to put them in:>)
I haven't had bisquit donuts in years. The first ime we had them we were camping on the shore of one of the Great Lakes. It was a cool foggy morining and I was walking and noticed the camp hosts were making these and handing them out with coffee and milk. I ran and got the rest of the family, the girls were about 8 and 10, and we all went and had warm fresh donuts in the misty air with the scent of the lake. Oh what a beautiful memory! I need to get a deeo fryer so I can make these myself. Thank you for sharing this BJ:>)

Very Pretty. I really like the vintage pithers on the mantel. And the pink solo cups. We always have the boring red ones.

I do love that you can still get so much mileage out of a bouquet of flowers have the "wow power" is fading! Flowers and doughnuts...mmm!

I do the same with my supermarket flowers, I stretch them...but not as beautiful as you have displayed them, sweet BJ. Your post is gorgeous, and your photos of the flowers are fabulous, wow! I love the way you placed each little flower in individual white things, too lovely! Happy St. Patty's weekend and luck of the Irish to you.

Pretty pictures! I LOVE your pitcher collection!

I always find that the mums last the longest in a bouquet. I still have carnations from 3 weeks ago! I love yours in the Solo cups and I am on the lookout for the pink ones!!

Happy St. Paddy's Day!

Jane

Hi BJ!
Aren't Christina's twin grand babies cute! Seems like just yesterday when my twins were babies... like 32 years ago, lol.

Love that name plaque above the shelf and all the pitchers with the flowers...the shelf itself is great all by itself!

Happy St Pat's Day!

A bouquet just keeps on giving pleasure, long after it's past its first blush. I enjoyed those photos!

Alrighty Ma'am...this post has me full of questions for you! One: HOW do you make canned biscuit donuts? Two: WHERE did you find Berry Oreos?? YUM!! Third:...oh, maybe number three was my comment: I LOVE those flowers in your pretty pitchers. So simple but SO elegant and sweet!

Hope you have a lovely weekend!

I've never seen the berry oreos. Did you whip that up for the ones you ate the goody off of? That is what I'm thinking happened. Berry oreos....hmmm

You know there was a song written about red solo cups. Yep.

All I need is to know how to make biscuit donughts..oh Lord!

Your photographs are great, you do have an eye for photography. I love the shot of single stems in the white on the shelf, awesome. You sure know how to photograph food, your shots are always so pretty.

An absolutely wonderful photo shoot..as always.
I love the way you make the flowers last and last. I do the same thing..bought flowers are not inexpensive. You have such an ability to make me want to eat something delicious..and to (naturally) go buy flowers or pick some or...something creative.
You copy someone else, I copy you!
:)

Your mantel looks lovely! I have some bouquets brought to me St. Pat's night by my guests, but I don't have that many white pitchers.
The donuts look yummy!

I haven't seen pink oreo's! And look at you with Pink Solo cups to match. I'm impressed.
Wonder what kind of song Toby Keith could come up with for Pink solo cups. LOL

I liked the flowers in the white pitchers on your mantle.
