~...and the SHELF goes on ~

My HEART'S DESIRE is to have a shelf like this.....
but at $1,000.00 from MACKENZIE-CHILDS catalog,
I knew it would never happen.
sooo.....
I started smiling,
fluttering my eyelashes (what there is of them)
and sugar dripping from every word that came out of my mouth,

and MR. SWEET started getting out
HIS TOOLS....
His WORK tools ..!!

Just the meer glimpse of this black and orange
beauty can stir deep, DEEP feelings in my soul....

I know it is used for MEASURING.....
measuring things like.....oh.....I don''t  know....
SHELVE MATERIALS.

There's just something CUTE about a man that
has all this talent and tools to make his olden wife soooo happy.

Can ya see it ?
Is it beginning to look like THE shelf....?

..... I THINK SO, TOO
;>)

I. AM. EXCITED.
P.S. I can't wait to get to the point of PAINTING.
Mr. Sweet thinks that part is going to be the hardest.
I keep telling him we will paint it as close to MACKENZIE-CHILDS painting as we can
but if it doesn't look just like theirs, I am NOT going to be the least bit unhappy.

Love it already..........but......well.........
I love HIM more. ♥ ♥ ♥

I am joining in the fun with

What a talent! The shelf looks just like the MC one as far as shape, you can paint those stripes you know you can!
I'm laughing about you getting Mr. Sweet to do your bidding, I think he knows what side his bread is buttered on;>)

Mr. Sweet is our Hero! I know that it is going to be so beautiful! Can he come stay with us in Georgia for a while? Hehe, I could sure keep him busy at my house! You could come too and cook some of those delicious meals that you are famous for:) HUGS!

My aunt started doing her china linen cabinet (an old china cupboard) in this style. She quit pretty early and said "good enough." I think you'll have more patience than she did. I'll send you the link to show you what she did. It's actually on my blog somewhere.

Mr. Sweet is amazing! Imagine what he could do designing his own stuff? You two could get rich and famous. Even more famous than you are already.
