That new runner for my table...

I have already shared with you my very
PLAIN, VANILLA  DINING TABLE....

very, very, boring.....BOR.......ING .
AND, I gave you a hint of what I did to make it a whole lot less BORING....
I have wanted a pretty burlap runner for quite some time.
Now, I was blessed to win one a couple years ago but it was a little short for my dining table..
I use it on a long, narrow table in our living room and it looks great...
I think burlap looks good ANYwhere....adds so much texture to your rooms.
When I saw this beauty at BEYOND THE SCREEN DOOR,
I knew I would order one for my long table.
I measured, sent SONYA  an email, she told me the size I needed and the price.....
so reasonable, I couldn't believe it.
I ordered it right away and in only a few days, it was delivered to my front door.

I am so so happy with it. It fits my table perfectly.....it is narrow enuf that I am still able to use place mats with it....and....

Her work is impeccable...just beautiful.

I am so proud of it and it really looks great in my dining room.
 I highly recommend SONYA.
Her online shop is full of beautiful things and she will take custom orders.
I am saving money as we speck for some of her beautiful pillows.
Thanks so much, SONYA, for creating a table runner that just sets my heart a'singing.
I am joining the fun at
(this runner is perfect for a farmhouse look)
Thanks to all the hosts....
I sure thank YOU for stopping by today.

oh thats so pretty. my round table has a top just like yours in tone and I hesitate to paint it but a round topper with a ruffle would be so nice. I better go write Sonia and ask if that can be done.

thanks for showing me yours and the heads up as to where one might be purchased.

First of all, your table is beautiful. Truly. I am enough of a traditionalist to really appreciate the wood. The grain is very pretty and I hope you won't paint it. (This from the gal who painted hers. Trust me if you can.)

That burlap runner is as nice as I have seen anywhere and I've looked all over Blogdom. I'm going to make my own and praying that it comes out half as well as yours. Just wonderful.

The runner is just gorgeous, BJ! I have to check out her website. I wish I had a dining room with a big long table but I just have a nook that seats four, It's hard to find a short table runner, so custom made is always the best for me. It looks just fantastic!

Jane

I'm so impressed when someone has an eye and can see how something will come together. I spend the money, then kick myself because it doesn't look like I thought it would. Lovely ideas.

A very attractive addition to the table. Apologies for not calling by to comment very often, time just seems to get swallowed up by real life!

My sweet hubby loves burlap! I bought some because I was going to make something with it! He found it while we were cleaning the garage! He was sniffing it like he worked for the F.B.I.! Ha Ha! But it reminds him of his childhood spending time on the farm his grandparents had in Holly, CO. AH...memories!
That is a beautiful piece of handiwork! Sonya did a terrific job! Hugs, Anne
