LOVE is in the air.....

BLOGGERS are, BY FAR, the most inspiring people in the whole world.
Every single day of blogging, it seems I am inspired.....to try a new recipe...
or a new craft....
or a new furniture arrangement...
gardening.......so many activities.
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Is this not the ca ute tes thing you've ever seen...
ESPECIALLY seeing that it is...
COFFEE  FILTERS...
Yes, mam......that's right....
Looks like beautiful lace, doesn't it.
Most of us know DEBBIEDOO.....
and we all know how talented this pretty girl is.
She just blows my mind all the time with her economical ways of bringing CUTE to her house.
You should swing by there and take a look at all the VALENTINE'S DAY crafts
she has come up with.......and would you kindly tell her bj said HEY ?.....thanks.
I wanted......REALLY wanted one of these cuties, too.
Especially when she said she could change it out for the seasons by changing her bows.
aaaahaaaa.....I love that idea.

I am NOT crafty......no sir ree.....but
I just HAD to try this one and one reason I feel comfortable showing
MY version is that ALL OF YOU are kind and sweet and always encourage me to
try more crafts.....
and I have never, EVER heard you laugh at me....
so......DON'T 'CHA DARE laugh !!
I can see things I should have done differently.....
but, on the whole,
I am liking my new Valentine addition to my SWEET NOTHINGS.

I DID buy this bow...
already made,
at MICHAEL'S....
I believe it was less than $4......

I only burned myself 18 times with my hot glue gun...
I ate a cookie every time I burned myself so I went to bed
hands hurting,  but happy and pretty danged full.

I have to tell you that when I got out all those coffee filters and told Mr. Sweet what I was going to do with them.....
his eyes rolled so far back in his head that I was, AGAIN, worried he may never see straight again....

but.....after it was finished,
he said that it was "pretty cute"
 so I was happy.

(now that I am thinking about it....
wonder if he was just wanting some of those homemade cookies....??? )

joining:
I hope everyone has a
SWEETHEART  DAY.....

Love your wreath, BJ! You did a fabulous job.

And on the glue gun burns - I've burned myself so many times that my fingerprints are surely gone.

You are something else Bj! You done great in spite of your 18 burns. Your wreath is so pretty. You must be so proud of yourself. You girls just flatter the heck right out of me. You are the third blogging friend who made one now after me. Of course I am not the originator of this awesome idea, just a good copy cat too!

Ohhhhh you are moving right along, with your crafting! You won't be able to claim that you are NOT crafty, very soon!

Or now, for Pete's sakes. Who says this adorable wreath isn't crafty????????

It is!

Oh darling! And your description of Mr. Sweet was priceless. I'm afraid that I'd find John raiding any such wreath that I might make as we're often out of filters. LOL!

BJ, this is darling. I'm not crafty at all, so it's fun to see what all of you crafty women are up to. ;-)

I love it and think you did a fantastic job! I've never made one of those before. Wouldn't it be sweet in a little girls room with a pink plaid bow too? I guess it has a feminine look to it, so my mind automatically goes there. It reminds me of those cute pom poms people make and hang from the ceiling.

Way to go, Ms. "Thang" - you did a GREAT job! I want one!

Very cute, Miss BJ! When you get tired of it you can use them to make coffee!

BJ,
Sorry, dear friend...I'm laughing...NOT at YOU! At "Mr. Sweet" rolling his eyes back in his head! Sounds like the same thing I've seen "Mr. Ed" do here on the Prairie!!! Those men...whatever would we do without them??? Your wreath is a beauty! I'm so proud of YOU...I could whistle "Dixie"...and I can, did you know? You just keep those creative juices going, dear friend!
Fondly,
Pat

Oh that wreath is so sweet! I made some coffee filter flowers for my aqua mason jars that I had at my wedding. I don't think you can see them in any of the photos, but I sure liked them. I love how your wreath turned out!
