A little tiny bit of FLUFFING.....

I hung a tiny shelf today.....
with little tiny pitchers.
(I am tweaking this space every time I walk by it...not liking it yet...maybe a little plain for moi)
I dearly love signage....
but sometimes, I think I have waaay too many.

We're not eating CAKE today....
but pretty, store-bought, delicious, light-as-air Valentine cookies.
Mizz DEEDSpicked them out at the store and she did an awesome job of it.
She took some home with her to share with her mama, daddy, sissie and brother.

I made myself a big cup of CHAI  TEA...
in my very favorite,"found it for half price"
LARGE TEA CUP
(you KNOW everything is BIGGER in TEXAS !)
and enjoyed a few of these little treats that
MY BIG TREAT picked out.
Why is it that, no matter WHAT a grand picks out to eat,
it taste twice as good as when I pick it out.....?

 Love and Kisses......bj
My cupcake wrapper giveaway is closing Tues. night 1/31)
and WINNER announced on Wed. morning.....2/1/12

just one of my favorite photos

That is the cutest little shelf! I think your signage is perfect and I want the letters that spell out c-a-k-e every time I see it!

I love the decoration on that shelf too and it really shows off your white pitchers. Cute.

Your shelf is wonderful and I like that surname signage going on. I've probably told you about the Christian restaurant with the words "Jesus Loves You" on the top line and the special of the day on the second. Some of them can get pretty funny. Jesus loves you fresh lobster roll with golden butter or Jesus loves you Shepherd's Pie with hot rolls. That's what your "Conklin Eat Cake" reminds me of.

The shelf with the pitchers is SO cute! I'd love to have a collection of those darling little things!!

I've never tried this tea...I heard it is supposed to be good for you. And the cookies, too...very good for you! ;-D I feel the need for them right about now with my coffee!

Jane

Your tiny shelf is so neat with the little pitchers on it. I love chai tea latte and always drink it in the winter. I used to get chai lattes at Starbucks before I learned I could make it at home.
Yum those cookies and chai tea sound so good right now.

Put flowers in those wee pitchers BJ. That will work. I love signage too but have very little of it as I am out of walls, hugs, olive

Bj,
Your shelf is gorgeous! I adore the little white pitcher collection and your white plates and platter. I've been craving oatmeal cookies all winter. Hm~m~m...perhaps I could enjoy some of those little Valentine one's instead? Enjoy decorating your new shelf, dear friend!

Oh I love your little Deeds! She has such good taste (literally). Do you know that SweetCheeks invisible friend was called Deeds? I just realized that he has, sadly, disappeared from our lives. I will miss his naughty little soul...but love that the name lives on at your house.

Your shelf is just darling and I love intitials and letters, too~ xo Diana

I love FLUFF! My life revolves around fluff, sugar... My hubby of 50+ years says my head is fluff. I wonder what he meant by that? Hmmmmm....

Hi BJ *hugs*
It DOES look like the Conklins are eating cake..*lol*... I was just looking at that pic as I was also reading your post..sort of together...*s*...cute. I like signage too but I don't really have signage. I'm going to have to do something about that.

Your little shelf is cute. I really adore all the blogging whites but it seems I need to punch up a bit of colour with it.

Hope you are having a good week so far.

I love the white shelf. I'm on a huge white kick these days. There's just something clean and crisp about it. Plus, it lets whatever color I want pop right out.

I really like how you styled that shelf. I love white dishes displayed in mass like that. Those cookies are almost too pretty to eat! If they taste as good as they look, then I wish I could have one now. Ha! Your "eat cake" letters in your kitchen are cute too.

BJ your little shelf is adorable. I want to find one for my living room that I can display some items on. I love the little pitchers of course. I've been gathering up my creamers...oh my, I have way more then I realized. I'm doing a month of 'pinks~reds' for Feb and will share some of my pink creamers then. Hugs, Linda

Hi BJ----You gave me the giggles pointing out what your signs say together.

Not to mention what you said about Texas.... My brother lived in Texas for 4 years in the panhandle area. I remember going to the mall when we visited and never seeing so many people wearing cowboy hats at one time. Someone told me they "had" to wear a hat because of the wind, otherwise their hair would be a mess all the time.

Those cookies you showed sure look good. Wish I had one with milk right now!

Thank you so much for coming each week to my party and for the smile you gave me today!-----Shannon

Your cookies look yummy too. My stomach is growling now. Stop by Cottage and Creek and enter my first ever Giveaway. Have a wonderful week.

Oh how gorgeous is that shelf?!! Love the way you set it up with the Conklin letters above it! If you find it too plain, maybe add a few red flowers or something like that in one or two of the little pitchers?

Yummmm, those cookies that Deeds picked out look so scrumptious...does she deliver?? lol xoxo
