Pop Over for some POP OVERS....

Some of you might know of the battle between
A BEAUTIFUL, TALL POPOVER and MYSELF.
Now, the above popovers were as tasty as anything I've ever made....

...'specially FILLED with all that good homemade
APRICOT PRESERVES.

*
Not having the correct pan to make them in, I used a
regular muffin tin....

they were good....
MERCY, they were good and Mr. Sweet
really loved them.
BUT..........
I really really wanted to make some like
 KATHLEEN'S
or.....

YVONNE
(bwaaaa, she isn't blogging anymore...:>(
They are REAL cooks and I am more a SEMI-HOMEMADE type gal....
not a REAL cook at all...
but I sure would like to make just ONE batch of really pretty POPOVERS...

 AND THEN.....
the wondrous mailman arrived
at my doorstep with the most wonderful package...

SET OF 6 POPOVER PAN

And, not only the pan but a TRIED AND TRUE recipe for POPOVERS.
and...the sweet note says
"I hope this helps make your popovers a success. Please enjoy!
Happy Thanksgiving, Michle"
                    ♥ ♥ ♥
She told me to NOT PEEK in the oven until the full 30 minutes for cooking was finished.
So, being the GOOD GIRL that I am, I didn't peek.....
and when the time was up....
I opened the oven and....
nearly wet down both pants legs..
they were  ♫♪  BEAUTIFUL ♪♪♫

Now, THAT'S what I'm talkin' about...!!

What a beauty... I am sooo impressed with my silly self...
♫♪♪
(well, OK...the wondrous pan and the fabulous recipe DID contribute to these
bloomin' beauties...:>)
THANK YOU SO MUCH, MICHLE
Warm LEMON CURD poured over this magnificent popover
took it all RIGHT OVER THE MOON....
and what a ride !!       ♥♥♥   WOO HOOOOOO
Why, I'm WALKIN' THE WALK
and
TALKIN' THE TALK....
I am feelin' MIGHTY good....♪♪♫..."I can bake a pretty popover, Billy Boy, Billy Boy".....♫♪♪
Just take a look at that texture...
the TEXTURE of the popover was PERFECT...
.....light and airy, just the way a popover is supposed to be.

Thanks to MICHLE, I can NOW
make a popover with the big girls.
♥YAY......
 Love and blessings to all,
bj

  27. Oh how very sweet of Michle!!! You are now a Pro!!!

But know what "BJ," would these purrrrfect Pop-Overs be as sweeeeet, without the not-so-high-ones, you have made before?

Nope, betcha' not. The disappointment of not-going-high, makes the wonderssssssssss of going-high-with-the-right-pan, all the more wonderful.

    Don't-cha-think? :-)
