It doesn't have to be that way.....

We can use only ONE photo
and 100 words.
Prompt is
"it doesn't have to be that way"
A baby boy was born to Mary,
One fine Christmas Day.
With no idea of how HE would carry
our sins and how HE would pay.

HE lives with our Father every day
and loves us from HIS heart.
He never really has to say
"I've loved you from the start."

At times you may feel so alone,
your friends have all forsaken,
your heart is broken, you cry and moan
Your very spirit, shaken.

Just remember, my sweet friend,
You have someone close who loves you.
HE promised to love us to the end,
And take our worries, too.

Listen close, to  what HE will say,
"No reason for you to be lonely,
It doesn't have to be that way.
All I ask is that you love ME only."

  6. This is certainly a lovely poem. When my oldest son was 18 months old, I created the three wisemen out of fabric, cardstock, and old jewelry. My son still has those wisemen.
