12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS

THE TWELVE DAYS OF CHRISTMAS....

Hope you will join us and post some photos of YOUR beautiful Christmas decorations...

Since her party is on the 12th, I decided ONE of my
12 days of Christmas tablescapes would be FUN...
My sweet daughter, STACY LEIGH, gave me the
Williams Sonoma
12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS plates last Christmas.
I was so tickled, I couldn't believe it.
They are sooo adorable....the kind of dinnerware that can be dressed up or down...
just depending on my mood.
(See that COAL pillow in the background...YOU BETTER WATCH OUT...)
Most of you know that I seldom have a formal type table.
We just don't live that way...we much prefer the more informal.

I know I am very unorthodox when it comes to setting my tables.
Most people would never mix things the way I do...
red and black plaid with black and white polka dots...?....shezzzzz

It's just more fun this way...:))
Due to the severe drought WEST TEXAS is in,
alas, I do not have pretty red berries on my beautiful HOLLY.
I am just thankful I still have my holly. ♥♥ It almost died during the triple digits weather. We just poured the water to all the holly plants and, at least, they lived.
I just add a few faux berries and it always looks so Christmasey.....
Like my candle ? I used music from GRAPHICS FAIRY and just used Modge Podge to attach it to the candle....
Just plain white napkins with plain black napkin rings...
Flatware is by Horchow...during a huge sale. ">)

This table is actually set for a
brunch between friends...

The pretty wine glasses held
ORANGE JUICE...

On the 3rd day of Christmas

♫♪...3 French hens.....

TODAY, we are going to make
CHRISTMAS PEPPERMINT BARK   omygosh...we do love that peppermint.
Well, at least, I do...Mr. Sweet says PEPPERMINT is meant to SELL...
not to EAT...
Oh, you silly silly man.....
The above photo is from last year...
I need to gather my ingredients together for candy making this year.
WHITE CHOCOLATE (drool, slober, wipe mouth....)
and PEPPERMINT STICKS...
A marriage made in HEAVEN....!!
That's WILLIAMS SONOMA's candy on your left....pretty, hu?
CRANBERRIES...
fresh, frozen or dried...
I love them in absolutely just about ANYthing...
well, creamed gravy MIGHT not be too good with Cranberries..
and then again...it just MIGHT !!
♫♪♪ ...on the 5th day of Christmas, my true love gave to me...
5 GOLDEN RINGS....♪♪♫
MERRY CHRISTMAS CRANBERRY PANCAKES
SWEET SMOKED COUNTRY HAM
ORANGE JUICE
DUNKIN DONUTS COFFEE
O HONEY

I don't know anyone who sets a table as beautifully as you do. Love the combinations and colors. You have an excellent eye for such things.

  5. I love your tablescapes, very cozy and inviting, and of course, for me, a beautiful table must have delicious food as the top priority, we can't munch on china. And you always come through with that, too! xo
