THE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE CHALLENGE

COOKIES....don't we love 'em..!!
I've always considered the most BALANCED DIET in the world is
a CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE in both hands...♥♥♥

is having the great
CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE CHALLENGE
and I WANTED TO PLAY.
I believe there are 100 participants and everyone is to post their cookies, the recipe
and the blogger you *borrowed* the recipe from..
ALL AT THE SAME TIME TODAY.....
HOW FUN....
MY delicious recipe comes from JOAN over at
her luscious recipe.....NO FLOWER FLOUR
1 1/4 cup oats
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 t. baking powder
1 egg
2 T. butter
1/4 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Beat egg, butter, and peanut butter. Add oats, sugar, and baking powder. Mix. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoon onto cookie sheet. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 8 - 10 minutes.
I have made them with and without the chocolate chips. Both are delicious!
I chose to add the CHOCOLATE CHIPS so I could play in the fun meme...
**
I was having a really hard time taking photos of my cookies as we are blessed to have
a really cloudy morning...(praying for more rain)...
SOOO,
I took them OUTSIDE for a
COOKIE PHOTO SHOOT.
I have used the brick ledge and the vintage BLUE AND WHITE canisters for
many cookie posts...these props just MAKE THE COOKIES LOOK BETTER.

Like everyone else on the planet, I grew up loving my mother's Chocolate Chip Cookies. She could make the very best, in my humble opinion.

THESE are very good..
.I actually never met a Chocolate Chip Cookie I didn't like.......
These are nice and light...not too sweet, but just sweet enuf...NOW....I did and ALWAYS DO, add PECANS..
O YES....
a Chocolate Chip Cookie without pecans is like a day without sunshine...lol
and...I think they look EXTRA good, filling up these pretty crocks...
If you want to see ALL KINDS of Chocolate Chip Cookies, be sure to stop over at
and see her list of bakers she has for you.
While you are over there, take a quick look at her other recipes...
she has some awesome sounding foods.
Would you kindly tell her bj said HEY ?  Thanks !
XOXO bj
WOULD YOU KINDLY CLICK ON LIKE
for my cookies...#57
woo hoo...
THANK YOU..

I can just picture your neighbours shaking their heads at you and saying "there she goes, taking pictures of her cookies outside again"!! hehe They sure do look delicious and OF COURSE you have to add chocolate chips and pecans, just wouldn't be a good cookie without 'em:-) I put both in mine too.

You darn right I'm making new costumes for everyone again this year and they'll be in my birthday post on Oct. 13th...fun, fun, fun:-) xoxo

Mmmm...they look delicious! My sister made chocolate chip cookies this last weekend, and her method is to make itsy-bitsy cookies that are just so poppable! You can eat half a dozen before you know it!

Thank you!!
Pecans do sound good in them. Will try it next time, then I can have them all to myself since my husband does not like nuts in baked goods. :) Can you imagine? LOL
Heading over to see more cookie recipes.
Have a great weekend.

Chocolate chip cookies are my all time favorite! If I could only make one cookie for the rest of my life that's the one I would choose. I can't believe these have no flour, I guess that would mean they would be great for gluten free diets:>)

I wish I could just reach in through the computer screen and grab a handful of those cookies. They look delicious! We're running low on cake now so I need to bake something else. Maybe I'll try this recipe.

What a great variety of cookies, BJ!! I never knew there could be so many! My mom made the best but we never found her recipe, that saddens me. But hey, I voted for you!!

Did you hear what happened to Lynn's Earl?
It's just HOG ible!
Have to go back through those pics and look for a good thick chewy one! We do not like flat and crisp here! We'd eat them, but wouldn't make them! :)
