An Autumn Tea For Two

When I woke up this morning, I was hungry for something....different.
We have had eggs, bacon, ham, cereal, pancakes...the AVERAGE breakfast foods..
I just happened to get on the PLAIN CHICKEN site and ......
THERE WAS MY BREAKFAST !!
CHEESE MUFFINS
 THESE are just delicious.
You can click HERE for this wonderful recipe.
I will surely be making these babies again.....and very soon.

I added another 1/2 Tablespoon of sugar..
and, altho I really REALLY wanted to add the full 3 CUPS of grated cheese..
I only used half that much.
Mr. Sweet and I both are trying to watch our cholesterol numbers....sooo....
I try to cut cheese and butter as much as I can without messing up the taste too much.
I KNOW these would be ADDICTIVE if I added that much cheese...We DO
love our cheese....don't you?

The next time I make these little morsels of goodness, I will add every single bit of cheese that the recipe calls for......
...if you make them, I strongly suggest you add all the cheese called for.:)

I do believe this calls for an AUTUMN TEA  FOR  TWO...
♫♪♪...TEA FOR TWO...AND TWO FOR TEA...
ME FOR YOU...AND YOU FOR ME.....♫♫♪
These are delightful, buttered, for breakfast..They would also be so good
with any kind of meal. The sugar added only gives them a SLIGHTLY sweet flavor.
I happen to think they go AWE-SOME-LY with TEA...
 Breakfast...lunch...dinner...tea...BEDTIME SNACK....UH HU !...that's what I'm talkin' about.

Thanks so much for having tea with me today.
It's so fun to play in Blogland..showing off our dishes that we love...our recipes that we are proud to receive and proud to share.

I hope you have a PERFECT day.

Yum Yum Yum! I wish I could eat one of those right now! I'll go check out the recipe so I can see what's in them. They look wonderful. I usually eat a boring bowl of Special K cereal in the morning and some coffee.

Thank you for sharing this. They will be on my menu for this week!
I wondered if you won't mind me using your sweet quote on your main page. I adore that. I am so missing my darling Dad! He passed away on what will be 8 years at the end of this month. I miss him so.
Have a great day!

Hi BJ, I was on a bit of a bloggy break but I'm back now and it figures that when I come visit you, I start drooling on my keyboard! lol Oh my, but those cheese muffins sure do look delicious. I've put the recipe in my favourites and will make them soon. It's funny, I don't care too much for cheese eaten alone but when it's in something cooked then I love it:-) A couple of those and a cup of tea...yup, I'd say that's just perfect!! xoxo

Oh, these look good! I love making cheese biscuits and I think these will be right next to them. Love the black and white dishes too!

If it's got cheese in it, it's my favorite recipe. Copied and printed but I am confused. The cheese biscuit recipe I saw at Plain Chicken site only called for 1 cup cheese. Do I have the wrong recipe? xoxo Lynn

BJ - I don't know how you do it. If I ate everything you showed on your blog I'd weigh 300 pounds. Nevertheless, I immediately went to Plain Chicken and "followed" (: I just bought the fixin's (west texas lingo)for chili. Isn't that a match!

Shelia..I would never, EVER make something that called for cheese and not add ALL of it. I would add all of the cheese even if it didn't call for cheese.
Wondering...does chocolate and cheese go together? Candy corn and cheese? Well, anyway..they look delicious..and those little black and white dishes...loaded with charm!
Hugs! :)

Oh my goodness girl, your muffins look delish. Going to try that recipe, and like you I'll go with your lighter version. A restaurant Jim and I love offer theses in minis with meals, so I think I'll use the mini pan. That way maybe we'll eat less.........do you think? Thanks bj.
