THEY FINALLY DID IT...

It is a pretty safe thing to say that
OREO COOKIES
are at the tip top of
AMERICA'S TIP TOP FAVORITE COOKIE LIST..
but..
*shhhh
I've NEVER liked Oreos.
Our kids loved them...and still do.
When daughter, STACY LEIGH, was little, she would take one apart,
lick all the white filling out and stick them back together...
She surely did

 There's all kinds...
OREO CAKESTERS
which didn't favor my taste buds AT ALL.
Reason being mostly...
they are still a cookie and I don't care for SOFT cookies.

OREOS just seem to go with MILK.

I've always loved cookies with a cup of good
hot coffee
but the OREO just never tasted all that great to me...

I love MINT...
these are pretty good.
Still...not my favorite cookie..

DOUBLE STUFF
SPRING OREOS
all kinds..
never made it with me
UNTIL.....  ♥

MIXED BERRY ICE CREAM OREO..

O HONEY
There's no way you can eat JUST ONE...

NO WAY, JOSÉ...!
I think I just ate a WHOLE package...

I can't even believe it...

and, I am VERY happy with
the photos...
I saw a photo of these beautiful, pink-filled cookies on Google that looked
JUST LIKE MINE...but it was someone elses..
These cookies not only TASTE great..
they take a mighty good picture !
In other words..
THEY ARE VERY PHOTOGENIC..
:-) .
MERCY.....
THEY'RE GOOD !
I do believe that THIS is the most
DELICIOUS SHADOW SHOT
I've ever taken.....
XOXO bj

  2. It's funny but they've never been a favorite of mine either. I just saw one today that was turned into Mickey Mouse, it was really cute! The berry ones are very pretty and if I have a chance to try one I will! Happy Labor Day Weekend BJ:@)

  3. I LOVE Oreos and steer my grocery cart AWAY from the cookie aisle! Therefore I have not seen these but they do look mighty yummy! Of course you could post just the package and it would look yummy! Good thing I don't live closer to you, you would have to add me as a dependent!

Have a blessed long weekend! HUGS!

  4. Well, I never thougth I would meet another person that didn't like Oreos...thought I was the only one on the planet...but I just.don't.like.them. After hearing your rave reviews I don't think I'm even going to TRY them...because one package would probably NOT be enough.

Great pictures and I love your new header! xo Diana

  10. You know, I never cared for them either except when I went to a family bbq and my cousin made a "dirt cake" - omg, I wanted the whole dayum pot (she actually put it in a child's beach pail with a shovel). Then, there was a limited edition Oreo called Dulce de Leches - omg once again. Of course these are no longer available. I have to try these berry ones. xo

  15. Oreos have always been and always will be my favorite store bought cookie. And I love them with a glass of milk for dunking & a cup of Coffee for drinking with♥ I had to cut down on buying them though because they are deadly to my addictive diabetic Hubby. However~ My All Time Favorite Cookie is My Sister Julie's fabulous homemade Raisin oatmeal... NO ONE MAKES THEM AS GOOD AS HER!!! And the best part is my Hubby doesnt love them :)

  16. OMGolly! Pink to boot! We don't have them yet ... but we are sold on the mint, can't stop so we don't buy them often. Not much into cake cookies either.

    Have a lovely holiday weekend.

  24. Oh my! They are a cute new cookie. I do love the oreos - regular and low fat AND the REALLY love the vanilla oreos - so much so, that this Sandwich Generation granny nanny can't buy THOSE coz, like you with these pink yummies, I can NOT control myself - and go through a package in just a day or so. Hmmmm. maybe I'd best play it safe and enjoy these pinkies on your site to save my tummie :) Have a lovely Pink Saturday!

  25. I like Oreo's but haven't had one in ages - I had no idea there were all the varieties. I rarely taste a cookie I don't love, so I bet I'd love them ALL! Your photos are yummy on their own. :-)

  26. I love Oreos with a glass of COLD milk. The berry ones sound good and I loved reading about how you aren't a big fan until you found these. Have a safe and happy weekend,

  27. I've never heard of these. They sound great, though. My favorite use of oreos would be crushed and in an ice cream dessert. Hope "Lee" brings you some rain!

  31. BJ, I'm with you--Oreo's are way overrated, but these new "pink" ones do look good. I'm a sucker--I'll try them --just on your rave review. Have a great weekend. Mickie ;)

  32. I'll just have to hope that we don't get them up here or I'll be the size of a house!

  33. Hi BJ,

    I think the original but double stuffed are my favorite. Those pink ones do look inviting though. :0) I'm glad you found one that you like...No one should go through life without Oreo cookies. {giggles}

    Hugs,
    Stephanie ♥

  34. Well, pretty lady, those pink filled ones do look and sound "berry" delicious! I know -- bad pun, bad Bill! I'll accept my fate if you insist that I try every type of Oreo you described, with milk, with coffee, taken apart/reassembled with mixed fillings. Speaking of fillings, I'll need to make a dental appointment right after I endure the punishment I feel strongly that I deserve.

One request though -- no pictures, OK? Chocolate covered teeth is just NOT a good look for me!

Fun post, BJ! I think those cookie companies will start calling you right away trying to hire you as their food stylist/photographer!

Have fun with family this weekend ... till you're whisked away to some glamerous location for the first professional photo shoot! Cookie shoot?

    Oh shoot!

    Bye for now ... ;)

  35. is it really true? i have to find some of these cookies right away! thanks for sharing! happy pink saturday... xo

    ReplyDelete
  36. Good morning bj, your post is definitely very professional. Oreo should hire you. HA! I have not seen these cookies on the shelf. No surprise, I don't eat Oreo cookies either. BUT, now I could definitely be talked into eating the new Oreo cookie. It DOES look good. Of course that's because YOU took the photos. I mean it sister friend. You really know your way around a camera.

BTW, I have never seen pink toilet paper like Claudie uses either. Remember when there used to be pink tissue and toilet paper but the dye bothered some people? However, NEVER that pink. Leave it to Claudie.

    Have a wonderful weekend.
    Love, Jeanne

  46. Oh I like Oreos, but as a traditionalist, the original is the way to go. I do not want fruit, mocha and double stuffed Oreos. The basic Oreo from 1903 or whenever is preferred. A glass of milk as a kid or a stout coffee now as a side to a great cookie!

    ReplyDelete
  47. Wow! I never heard of the Mixed Berry variety.

This is one tasty shadow shot entry, BJ! Thanks for stopping by today.

I love Oreos but I do agree with you about soft cookies. Crunchy crispy cookies are much more yummilicious.

Glad your grands are ready to return to school.

  51. Looks like it's hard not to take a picture of just one too! :-)

    I LOVE MY SHADOW

    I love my shadow,
    My shadow loves me;
    We chat together
    And don’t disagree!

    My shadow and I
    Prefer not to shout
    As we go walking
    And rambling about.

    My shadow’s so wise,
    I ask what she thinks;
    She’s happy to share,
    And then nods and winks.

    My shadow and I
    Are best buds, you see;
    That’s why we try hard
    To always agree!
