HATS off to SHADOWS...

WEST TEXAS HATS
casting a BIG SHADOW...

A memaw and her little sweet grandgirl,
DEEDS....
sitting in the hot TEXAS sun,
watching another grandgirl riding and roping in
a college rodeo.
"FIVE  little grandgirls, lined in a row...
IN the shadows and the shade
of the TEXAS RODEO."
 Grandgirl, COURTNEY, roping a calf.
I have posted this photo before..........not sure why I like it....but I do.
All the action was waaay too fast for my little point and shoot camera so
I had to be happy with the photo I got.
Normally, I would delete one like this....but...
just something about it.......
PINK SATURDAY (only the PINKS of the faces and a tiny bit in the blur...)
SHADOW SHOT SUNDAY

Some beautiful grands you got there, girl. And having one of them in the rodeo, how cool is that. I love rodeos anyway, but I can't imagine how I could stand it watching my grand competing. Wait till I tell my grands about this.♥

I like that photo. It looks really like modern art but you can still tell what it is. I can't believe you have a granddaughter that does that. I like all the girls lined up. So sweet.

I agree BJ, there is something very pleasing about that photo. The blur of colors really show the action but I can still tell what it is! Happy Saturday:>)

This New Englander thinks of hats when thinking of the Lone Star. Hats, tall and with distinction, to keep the sun off on a hot and dusty day (of which you had so many this year). Cowboys and straw hats - our impressions of Texas up here...As hats are worn a lot by Patti these days, we are warming up to that style!

Nice shot in motion - I feel the movement, so no need to apologize - the effects are great!

Nice pictures. The hat shadows are awesome. The hats are hanging but the shadows almost appear to be a person wearing a cowboy hat....intersting!
