You have me waiting in anticipation for the luscious looking drinks at your picnic. I'm glad you repeated this post, 'cause I would have never been able to enjoy the ambiance.

Stop by if you find time and see my

Have a terrific Sunday.

Inspired by your photos:

COME TO THE PICNIC

Shadows of lemons
And shadows of pears;
Shadows of gremlins
And shadows of bears;
Come to the picnic
Down by the pond,
For of your presence
I’m rather fond!

Oh to picnic in such a fashion. I usually think plastic and stripes or gingham. I've got to crank it up a notch! ☺

Thanks for going back...your entry is now valid.

That drink in the photo looks so amazingly refreshing! Love the strawberries in it.

I left you a reply in my comments regarding the water usage. We fortunately got off restriction last year I think but they charge I twice for water usage in my town so I'm very careful about how much we use. I have three rain barrels I use in my garden to water the flowers and for just washing hands after gardening or rinsing pots out - that sort of thing. You can find a food grade barrel and make your own so you don't have to buy one. I also still have a bowl in my sink to capture water from cooking or rinsing veggies which I use to water my plants. Still have a bucket in my shower that captures water also.

Thanks for stopping by and finding my new place! It was nice to see a comment from you even though the subject matter of my blog has changed.

On a hot Texas day, the mere view of water and shade takes about 20° off the thermometer (at least visually). You, and the ducks have picked a fine day in the shade for fresh and cold lemonade.

Prayers for rain in TX, we had a rainy spring up in New England so have not hit a drought this summer. In a state that grows crops prolifically. Prayers for rain are all we can offer...

The only shadows here are the once cast by the big, fluffy clouds that occasionally go in front of the sun.
Love your new header photos!

I think you were doing the same thing as we were...playing with the ducks. Love the shot. Since I did not get to see this the first time, I am so glad I did today. Have a nice week. Genie
