This is no ice cream dream; this is an ice cream event! I guess it's true what they say about the acorn never falling far from the tree. Your bowls of ice cream look like twins!

Nothing better than a big banana split with Blue Bell or Braums. I love it, but try to not over eat. That is a great picture of your granddaughters.

Oh- That looks like a delightful treat for your granddaughter. I haven't had a banana split in 500 years...well, I might have exaggerated a tad...maybe 15 years~

What a great post and your little gd is so intense while she is eating that thing. How funny is that? LOVE the little pink boats!

I do that You Scream. I Scream, We All scream with the kids on the way to our local Frosty Tip and we each actually DO scream! Yeah...with the windows rolled up...never said I was too bright now, did I? xo Diana

I love ice cream, and this is the second post featuring the stuff that I've opened this morning. Hmm... I think it's a warning that I'm in for a hot day.

I think my favorite part of this is that your Deeds emailed you a picture for your blog. That is sweeter than the ice cream.

Oh-me-oh-my-oh-mercy! Those precious pics of precious Mizz Deeds, say it ALL! :-)

Oh and your present blog look is so, so, so pretty, Dear BJ. I love the way you use creativity and change things around and etc., etc., etc.

LOVE IT!

Also love how you highlighted the "Word Verification Free Blog" issue. Right at the top, over your 1st post.

Some people don't know they have it on. Some people don't know about the good SPAM filters on Blogger now. Plus, we ALL read our comments. If a nasty blogger does slip one in on us, we delete it, when we read it. Simple. :-)

I know it will be ok with you, if I *borrow* this idea.

'Cause I don't look at Sidebars much, and so my button, on my Sidebar, I feel it gets lost.

You're right - you're never too old for hot fudge sauce! My favorite quick treat is French vanilla ice cream, chopped nuts and chocolate sauce - I'm in heaven.
Sweet granddaughter there - I'll have to start talking to my kids about the lack of a granddaughter in this family!

Oh 'BJ', the home you see, "behind" my husband's flowers, is NOT our home. It's the home of our son/daughter-in-law next door!

My husband's flower garden is in the front yard, next to their yard. And when I took that pic, THEIR home shows.

It is pretty and they had someone landscape it for them, and it's lovely looking. Sorry I didn't put that info, under the picture. Our house is years older and not so sharp. :-)

Wonderful post. The dishes are so cute but the granddaughter is cuter! That is definitely a work of art created there :-) Thanks for joining in at the social. Mark the calendar for next year!

THAT looks dangerous! But oh so yummy. I agree about the word verification, it's annoying. I think most people just don't know to take it off or how to.
I am a "PIN" girl myself, it's my latest addiction! Happy Pink Saturday and have a wonderful weekend!
