PENNY CANDY

I've had a love affair with COURTLY CHECK of MACKENZIE-CHILDS fame
for a LONG LONG time.
I just can't afford it.
BUT, when you have a friend that can make ANYthing LOOK like COURTLY CHECK...
well....
then you can have something THIS great.
I had this vintage cannister set and asked
if she would paint them for me...
She said YES...and here they are.
Aren't they so adorable.
I just love them, PATTI, and also the little napkin holder.
I need LARGER knobs...and I am searching HI and LO for them.
Patti so kindly added this cute napkin holder to the box of lids she sent back to me.

 OH, what magic an AWESOME
PAINT JOB can do...:))
LARGER knobs will really take these over the top.

THANK YOU, PATTI

I am linking with DEBBIE for the first of the wonderful BLOCKG PARTIES this week.

These turned out so adorable! I LOVE them! Do you have a Hobby Lobby near you? They always carry really cute funky knobs in all different sizes. Also i wonder if you could find larger ones at Lowes. Just a thought! Honestly, though they are wonderful just like they are! Thank you for sharing them at at the Blogger Block Party!

Your friend did a wonderful job on those canisters. A lovely makeover and they were great already.

(So sorry that it is still so miserably hot and dry. Rain, Lord, rain for Texas. Please. Thank you. Amen.)

Those turned out absolutely darling!!! They look like the "real thing"...whatever that is! It does remind me of penny candy jars. I actually remember those from my childhood...(sad to say)..Hope your Texas Monday is not as hot and sticky as it shows it is going to be~ xo Diana

That heat is awful. Can't believe such low humidity.
Not sure what is worse the heat or the humidity. Stay cool with those cool new canisters. Love them.
