MAGAZINE COPY CAT CHALLENGE

I am just tickled to death to jump right into the big middle of
DEBBIE DOO'S
MAGAZINE COPY CAT CHALLENGE

I am playing with one of my all-time favorite COPY CAT posts...

TAILGATING DONE RIGHT
by COUNTRY LIVING MAGAZINE...

I just fell in love with this awesome photo in their magazine...

and...I pretty much knew when I saw it that

I JUST HAD TO TRY IT...

Isn't this picnic tailgating set up just the cutest thing...

Of course...I don't have a vintage , red plaid picnic basket...
nor a vintage to.die.for. cute thermos...

but, just maybe COUNTRY LIVING
didn't have an adorable
VINTAGE BLUE WICKER PICNIC BASKET...:)

Delicious HAM AND CHEESE sandwiches...
PICKLES and CHIPS...
juicy, ripe, red PEARS...

My vintage DRINK CROCK
full of
ICED RASPBERRY  TEA
and my BLACKBERRY WINE...
I have TWO glasses...
One for you and one for me...

MR. SWEET just loves it when I use food in my photo shoots...:))

The beautiful wicker PICNIC BASKET with the cute RED checks
was given to me from MICHAEL LEE..
It was a giveaway and I was blessed to have my name drawn...

COUNTRY LIVING.....
SWEET NOTHINGS...

This was a LOT of fun...
Thank so much, DEBBIE.
I am also joining in with:

My thanks to all the lovely hosts..
I hope YOU will go by some of these great blogs and their parties.
Lots of fun.

This was a lot of fun BJ, and the fact that you put your own twist with that funky blue basket was the best. Country living ought to see THAT! Thanks for joining the party. Have a happy 4th of July!~

GREAT job! Save me a seat on the blanket with the ants, will you? I love how you copied it but still gave it your own spin.

Here's that recipe for chocolate gravy I promised you:

Chocolate Gravy

1/3 stick butter
2/3 cup sugar
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/3 cup cocoa
2 cups whole milk

Heat butter in a cast iron skillet over low heat. Mix in sugar, flour and cocoa. Slowly pour 1 cup of milk into the skillet and whisk well to remove lumps. Whisk in remaining milk, stirring constantly, until mixture is thick, being careful not to scorch. Serve hot over biscuits.

Like I said- It's a whole lot like chocolate pudding!;>) xo Diana

Just wondering...do your neighbors watch you when you're out there photographing the back end of your car and your food and arranging things just so and then rearranging and retaking the photos, etc. etc. etc.?

Because I always took outdoor photos of the things I sold on Etsy and then one day I realized the neighbors were no longer making eye contact with me. Doesn't everyone drape their monogrammed tea towels and monogrammed baby clothes on the shrubs and fence and take pictures?

Apparently not.

Love your picnic! I'm sure Mr. Sweet does love when you feature food. It always looks amazing. I'm still dreaming of those biscuits!!!
