ARMED FORCES DAY

This is the day on which we have the welcome opportunity to pay special tribute to the men and women of the Armed Forces ... to all the individuals who are in the service of their country all over the world. Armed Forces Day won't be a matter of parades and receptions for a good many of them. They will all be in line of duty and some of them may give their lives in that duty.

I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for the
freedom you are fighting for.
GOD BLESS EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU.

Beautifully said! I heard last night a young soldier was killed on the battlefield. My hat is off to all the military who serve us so selflessly. Thank you for the reminder. Hugs Anne

Beautifully expressed, BJ. Our new newphew-in-law will be heading to the mid east this summer. We are so very proud of him and all the others who answer the call to serve.

Oh my gracious! I forgot Armed Forces Day.

'Course, every day we should remember and thank all our Military. All our Warriors. And their familys, who support them, by keeping the home fires burning while they are away.

Oh darn bj, I didn't realize today was Armed Forces Day. I am so grateful to the soldiers who fight for our freedom. It breaks my heart when we lose a soldier or they are badly injured. God bless everyone of them.

BJ, how wonderful! My father served in WWII and I am so proud to say that and so proud for those who are so willing to serve and put their lives on the line. One of my neighbors has a boy that is in the Navy Seal's unit that got Bin Laden (SP?). How terrifying for that family and yet we need young men and women like that who are so willing to lay down everything for their country.
