A teeny tiny change...

CAFE'
French for COFFEE
a little french sidewalk cafe ALWAYS comes to mind when I see the word CAFE'
Brazilian coffee is probably one of the best.
See the burlap bag behind these packages of coffee ?
Well...
I've been wanting one forever but every time I see them for sale...
like on EBAY,
they are way too much money.
*sigh
am I the ONLY one that lives on a Social Security Budget ?
Sooo,
when Mr. Sweet came home the other day with
THREE of the above burlap CAF'E BRASIL sacks,
I just about fainted, dead away !
"O My Gosh...where in this world did you find THESE?"
"At an import/export warehouse downtown...."
"How much were they?"
"$2.00 each...."
"WHAT..??...2 BUCKS EACH?"
"Yep...but they're used."
"Can we get some more?? and do they have different logos on some?"
"and, where am I going to hang one ?"
THEN,  I remembered seeing this cuteness at
KIM'S (this belongs to her sister) so
I've got a rooster cabinet, too.
I'm knowin' I can never get it as cute as this, tho..
gonna try.
This wall above my Rooster cabinet is just about right...
sooo,
down came the curly Q iron Frenchy shelf....
(it's been there for a solid year so I am ready for a change...)
..and up went this fun burlap bag...
and...
I AM LOVIN' IT, YA'LL.....
So cute and lots of fun...
I may not keep it up there for long...
but for now...
it's such a fun piece.
 "Save the Amazon...Use jute"...
don't you love it ?
THEN, I got some MORE inspiration
this time from MISS MUSTARD SEED...
I love every single thing she does and she has no idea
I STALK her blog...all the time.
Run over there sometime and get your sox knocked right off your feet..
she has AMAZING ideas and is so talented.
and has more energy than ANYone I've ever known.
When I saw her basket and fruit, I had to put MY basket of fruit there...
 I love it...thanks to:
(i am such a KOPY KAT..and can't seem to help it..)
Oh, yes...
I saved you a HOT BISCUIT...
so let me pour you a cup of
Brazilian coffee...
and get out the butter and
STRAWBERRY FREEZER JAM.
I only have ONE more jar
so it's time to buy fresh, juicy bright RED strawberries
and
MAKE SOME MORE...
(oops...I should have posted THIS one before my last week making of MORE jam)
OOO, I am SOOO not with it.
I am linking with
Thanks so much, ladies.
DON'T FORGET TO LEAVE A COMMENT ON
POST for a chance to win an awesome sign...

Bj, that looks great and only $2! You can copy me or my sister any time.

Three? He got you three?! What a guy!! It looks perfect right there and I'm going to tell you something. We're all copycats. It's true and I don't care who we're talking about. That's what people do...they spark each other and build from someone else's clever idea and make it their own. It just keeps going round. No, there's nothing new under the sun, but there are plenty of interpretations. Amen!

I would have loved to seen the look on your face when he brought those home. And $2.00!!! That certainly scores husband points!!! ;)

I love what you did with it. It is perfect where it is. I had to chuckle a little when you mentioned Miss Mustard Seed because I was just over their before visiting you. I don't know what is more amazing, her beautiful work or her energy. I love her stuff too. She is so inspiring.
Hugs, Sue
P.S. I made the Sunshine Cake. All I can say is that I am making it for Easter! It was delish!!

Well Bj,aging you really showed off your imaginative talent. I don't anyone else who can take ordinary and somehow transform to extra ordinary. Your biscuits and jam would go so well with my cup of tea.

I never would have thought of using that type bag for anything. You certainly came up with a super idea that works. It looks nice the way you have it displayed. I am sure you gave the better half a big smooch.

You're not being a 'copy cat.' It's not like you live right next door, to the gal, whose decor you love. :-)

You keep yourself young, with the joy you find, in little things. We could all "take a page from your book," as the saying goes.

Good for you, Dear One!

When you get a chance, come stop by my blog. My home has been featured in Romantic Country this issue. I'm sooooo thrilled to pieces!

Thanks for dropping by and seeing my chair with the coffee burlap bags. I've heard that you need to wash the sacks before making them into pillows - I'm trying to get brave enough to do that. I'm afraid they'll fall apart when I do that. Will let you know how it works. Your blog is so cute and I'm just like you - a big copycat - but, hey, that's why I love blogging!

What a great find and only $2! Mr. Sweet sure knows what you like:>) I bet he could even make you a wooden frame to stretch it over, it would look like canvas art!
