My Sweet Friend...

KATHY, sent me the sweetest package.
I couldn't wait to open it because, if you know KATHY,
you know she is the *Maker of all Things Pretty*....

The cutest MUG MAT ....and all in my very favorite colors...
 I just love it, Kathy.
Thank you so so much.
I am pretty sure I am going to frame it, tho...
too charming to sit my drippy coffee mug on...:)
How cute it will look, hanging in my black and white and red kitchen.

She also slipped in this vintage butter spreader
with *SPREAD JOY* stamped into it.
Isn't it the sweetest !!!
She does the stamping herself...she's so smart!
THANK YOU, KATHY...
I love them both....and you do, indeed, SPREAD JOY.
Much love, bj
xoxo

B.J.: What a nice and talented friend you have. I love what was in your package!

I'm so sorry to hear about how dry West Texas is and about the fires. We had that same concern one year when we lived in Lubbock. I wish I could send you some of our too-much rain!! Instead, prayers will certainly be coming your way. Stay safe!

Best,
Bonnie

Sweet package, from your sweet friend!

But oh I am so worried about you, and west TX, and the fires. -sigh-

I'd send you some of our nice April showers, if I could...

Stay well...

Stay well...

I love this BJ, great idea to frame it for the kitchen, I would!
Sorry to hear about all that fire in Texas, I have a niece who lives in West Texas, but thank God, not near! I will pray for all the people there. Here in my neck of the woods is raining April showers, and probably May too, rain season!...wish I could send it there, instead.
Love

Oh it's wonderful and will be very nice framed, even if you leave Kathy shaking her head at you. What a wonderful spreader she included, too. Sweetness all the way around.

Those fires...ugh. I have another friend who is enduring floods. Now if I could just arrange sending your corner the extra flood waters. God knows. He's not taken by surprise. I shall certainly pray and thank Him in advance for some sweet gentle showers.

Wow, that is so sweet! I love it!.. Of course, I ALWAYS love gingham and polka dots, but Kathy did a BEAUTIFUL job on this little mug mat! I'm pretty sure, if it was me though, I'd never be able to set a coffee on it! MUCH too pretty! ~tina

Is there anything better than something someone made themselves...I don't think so! Just so cute, bj, and yes they will very sweet in your ADORABLE kitchen! That's the first time I think I have seen it from a distance...
My sweet patience husband still doesn't want to paint those wood cabinets...so...
I will just have to come and look at yours and learn to be patient like he is! :)
Hugs!

Yes, frame that. The first thing I thought when I saw that cute little thing is how it matched your kitchen. What a great friend.
So New York American Girl store is even better than Chicago. Meet you there instead, hah.
Praying for rain for you. Geez, we have had so much this week. Wish I could send it your way.

What a sweet gift. I'm with you on that mug mat, BJ. I would be afraid I'd mess it up. Framing it is a great idea!

Praying for rain for your area.

That was so kind of Kathy. Now if she would only send me the pumpkin pudding someone sent her by mistake. We have the same first and last name! :)

Every time I see that kitchen of yours, I want to have the courage to do something like that with my cabinets. I just plain love it.

But I digress...

I agree that the pot mat is just too cute to use for a your drippy coffee.

I can pray with an empathetic heart for you in Texas! We endured several years of drought recently, and it can get downright scary. Praying for rain to fall!

As DH & I sat in the sunroom...I use that term loosely...it was pouring down rain & grey-grey-grey, I said "Too bad we can't send some of this to BJ & my brother (he lives in Kerrville) We've had Too much rain & you've not had any. :-( Still praying for ya', Honey!

Have a Blessed Easter,
fondly,
