GIRLY ROAD TRIP

A 3 day road trip with daughter,
STACY
grandgirls,
BRYNNA and
DEEDS
DALLAS, TEXAS
First stop after the hotel...
AMERICAN GIRL BOUTIQUE
Deeds LOVE American Girl dolls
and had saved her money for a new one.
Here she is with her new doll and a pose with the cute poster girl.
Of COURSE, we had to have
PINK ICE CREAM SODAS
and ICE CREAM CONES with SPRINKLES...
and they "provided" a chair for
JULIE....the new doll.
Then, my movie star looking BRYNNA wanted to go to
JUICY COUTURE
OMGosh....what cute stuff they have for young ladies..
She was IN HEAVEN !
Cuteness  galore in the dressing room....
Adorable shirt
short shorts with gray and white stripes...sooo cute.
LOTS of pinkness in this cute store....
I wanted to take him home with us but they said NO !
;)
Stacy's got her eyes on one of those bright
CANDY APPLE RED APPLES....
I kept wanting to hang out HERE...
but the girls said, "Come on, Memaw."
This was my first time to the GALLERIA MALL
and I had been dying to see the
ICE SKATING RINK...
and there it is behind us.
AMAZING..
We spent one day at the
DALLAS ZOO
where my daddy used to take me in the 40's.
Need I say that it had GROWN and changed a lot in all those years.
Ya'll.....my daughter is MODEL PRETTY
la Madeleine Bakery and Cafe...
We LOVED our lunch here.
Quiche Lorraine..
Spinach pastry..
Sweet French
 pasteries of all kinds,
DELICIOUS.

I LOVE road trips
but ESPECIALLY
with such sweet and beautiful loved ones.

What a fun day you had. Your daughter and grands are so adorable just like their Grams.
I got one of my grands Julie for Christmas. She is my favorite. Now another one wants the new one in your picture. I am going to Denver to see her in 10 days and we may go to their new store.

Oh, how wonderful for you all. All of your girls are gorgeous...but, it is easy to know why...they have great genes, look at you!

I love American Girl Dolls. By the time they became popular (and had a few choices that were affordable, my daughter was past wanting dolls). I really want a grandgirl one of these days to buy one for. Somehow my little grandboys probably would like one much!

Oh what fun you all had! Nothing much more fun than a road trip with your favorite girls. I love American Girl dolls myself so I'm very impressed with a gal saving her money to buy one. Now I hope that you get to rest a bit...you must be exhausted.

My best friend lives in Dallas & she took me to the Galleria. Typical of Texas, it's done up in big style. You have some beautiful girls there, what fun you all must have had. Happy PS! Niki

Wow, what a brilliant time you all must have had. I took my Maddy to the American Girl shop and restaurant in New York when we visited there a few years ago. She got a doll and some clothes and books and we had the best time! Maybe when we next come to America we should visit Texas!

Best wishes,
Natasha.

That looks like a fun road trip! Especially with three beauties. Nothing better. My sister and I are going on one next week to see the okie branch of the family. I'll get to spend some quality time with the three grands and daughter. Don't know how long we'll be gone. Since Sha has retired we don't live by the clock.
love, al

Oh, How very fun!!
Girl get-aways are the best.
Dallas is such a fun place to visit. I think that even the highways around Dallas are pretty.. so high & all those stars on the over-passes... And the shopping!!!! .. : ) Looks like you all figured that out.
Thanks for sharing a bit of your road trip.

BJ, what a great way to spend time with your family. Seems everyone had a blast. Your daughter and girls are very pretty. Of course, their grandmother is not all bad. I got a comment from someone that calls herself "fannipauline". I went to return the comment and it did not show she had a blog. She only had about ten people she followed and you were one of them. She left me a nice comment. She will soon turn 81. I got excited to find another one my age. Would you my any chance know who she is. Take care.
