A small collection....

I don't ever remember a  conscious thought of
"GOSH...I really want a collection of TINY...WHITE...PITCHERS."

First of all, I generally don't care for anything TINY...
well, I DO like tiny babies...
but you know what I mean..
The sad thing here....
THIS ISN'T ALL .....
*sigh
The taller pitcher in the back is one that was given to me from my mother....
long, long ago...
All of the pitchers I have came from
flea markets
garage sales
mostly thrift shops....
The first few I bought were for my sweet sister in love...
...she collected them.
but...
when she died, they were all given back to me.
I keep rubbing this tiny little gravy boat...
it looks like a genie
could come out, in a cloud of smoke...
legs apart...
arms crossed
 and
grant me 3 wishes....

I just LOVE playing around with my photos in PhotoScape...
I love this focus point on my NOVEMBER rose..
...just a focus on the clock...
THIS is fun, ya'll.
You can do some awesome things over there...
Mr. Sweet brought this rose into the house just a few days ago..
and, we've had several FREEZES..

I can use some of the tiny pitchers beneath my tiny cloche
for a little festive decoration....

....add a little holly and a red and white ribbon and ANYthing is festive. !!!
This November rose is especially for you, BEVERLY.

RASPBERRY CREAM CHEESE CAKE
in a CHOCOLATE COOKIE CRUST...
OH HONEY
MAYBE we'd like this beneath the cloche  instead.?
FOOD has always been my favorite cloche theme....
*
so so easy to make...
just use the recipe on the super market CHOCOLATE cookie crust...
:))
(her theme is COLLECTIONS this week..and she has the coolest things
themed each Saturday)

(she always has a VAST amount of PINK for you to delight in.)

(some AWESOME favorite things to see)

(a delightful meme that can cover a lot of things)

  1. That 'focus point' thing.... When it happens, simply by our taking the photo, it's called some photography term... Like "Bokah" or something. I can never remember the correct word! -sigh-

And once in a while, it happens for me. Not by doing any Photoscape thing. Just because of how I took a picture. And that really makes me "puff up"! -grin-

New blog look here again. :-)

Somehow, I just can't 'get into' the new Blogger Templates. -pout- I prefer my original simple minima stretch, or whatever I still have on my main blog. I've tried new Blogger Templates on my 'testing' blog and it's a mess. -pout-

Sooooooo, for now, I'll just change my blog look, by diff header pics, and Red/Green stuff on all white background. Boring, I know. -giggles-

  2. Tee, hee, heeee... I was first to comment on this entry. We must be on line, at the same time. :-))))))))

Here, it's my checking in on Blog Land time, before my 'Gilmore Girls' repeat starts, and I do my exercise of walking in place.

  15. Lovely BJ!!! I LOVE your little pitchers! AND I have a theory!!! Such things are NOT collected, "They follow us home" AND THEN!!! When we are NOT looking "They Multiply"... That's my theory and I'm sticking with it! I believe you have created the most beautiful home for your little white pitchers and they will be "Very Fruitful for you"! Just look at the smiles on their little faces under the pretty little cloche!
    Hugs to you,

  18. Oh, I so love your cloche and food complementing each other. I lost a friend this year at age 47 to heart disease. She could take a candle and make any household item a candle holder. I will miss her silly habit of saying, "This would make a lovely....candleholder! Hee Hee!

  20. The pitchers are a lovely thing to collect...and they are TINY, so they don't take up a lot of space! Nice, because I don't have much of that! lol!

I have to try some of these photo altering sites...I'm not that great with figuring those things out though. Was it easy?

The cheesecake looks SO good, even though I am still stuffed!! Hope you had a wonderful holiday!

What a beautiful share. I love your collection of white pitchers. Isn't it amazing what we can do with them? Dress them up, or leave them alone and let them shine on...shine on.
The rose looks so beautiful popping in and out, and how sweet of Mr. Sweet to rescue it for you before the freezes came in.

  48. Hi bj, I haven't had a moment to visit today. My company left late this evening and I watched the Macy's parade (recorded) and fell asleep. No surprise, we have had a crowd since Weds. It was a wonderful Thanksgiving.

I love your wonderful collection of pitchers. Especially the one from your mom. I know how much it means to you. My mom left me one little pumpkin paperweight and now I have a hundred fruit paperweights. sigh. They just grew. HA!
Love that rose and the cheesecake.
    Love you too.
