TAILGATING at TEXAS TECH....

Our son, DAVID, owns LITTLE GUYS MOVERS
and this weekend, he did the most AWESOME
TAILGATE
at the Tech football game..
folks around LUBBOCK do things like this to promote their businesses...
right along with HAVING FUN.
*

He had the most fabulous setup...
*
...even a big screen tv for those that would rather hang out there
instead of going to the game.
Tickets to a Tech football game sell out a year in advance...
This awesome cooker...cooked the best briskets and sausage for wraps....

That's Dave....he is such a GOOOD cook..
Actually, every single thing he does just IMPRESSES THE HECK OUT OF ME !!
Good food, lots of cold drinks, awnings for shade....
**
This is our twins...as different as DAY and NIGHT...
and the bestest friends..
*
Bailey looks like a little doggie, waiting for a treat....
hahhaa...I have no idea what they were doing...they just looked cute doing it so I took a pic....
*

ummmm...time to EAT..

Cute Tech girls...
aren't they adorable in their boots...
and when they walked by the singer below,

someone asked if he was HOT...(97 degrees)
he said, "Well....it just got HOTER!"
;>)
I think David was the only tailgater that had LIVE MUSIC...
and they were really good.
*
Lots of TECH flags flying...
*
They were twisitng their little grandgirl butts all over the place
so, of COURSE, I had to get a picture..:))
Here I am, standing tall, beside 3 of my grandgirls..
I AM BLESSED....
We had the best time...a truly wonderful day...
I am so thankful for each and every day that I have with them...
still feeling good...still able to DO things with them..
I realize, and never take for granted, that I have more blessings than I deserve.
O, MY....LIFE IS SOOO GRAND !

You will make such a difference in their lives. My mom got to spend lots of time with her 6 grands. Between my sister and I we have them 14, 22, 26 (Thurs), 27 and 2 28's. They loved my mom (more than they love us) and they have so many memories of all the fun things she was able to do with them right up until the end. It is a huge blessing for kids to have that kind of relationship with their grandparents. You are blessed...so are they!

BJ, if the price of game tickets at Tech or anthing like the ones at UT then the big screen TV is a great idea. LOL
Enjoyed seeing your beautiful grandgirls. Real TX beauties! ~ Sarah

BJ I LOVE your attitude! You have such a wonderful outlook on life and I like the fact that you are GRATEFUL for your good health and wonderful life and most of all your family. Your pictures made my mouth water...that food looks so good. You know...I have NEVER been to a tailgate party..I know ...pretty sad isn't it. I think it would be worth it just to go for the food! Looks like your son supplied more than good food though and what a great way to promote his business while having fun with friends and family. You truly are 'blessed'. Have a great day ! Maura :)

BJ - thank you for being a great role model! If that's what 70 something looks like then I can't wait to get there! You look every bit as beautiful as your granddaughters.

I have just stopped by, for a belated pink saturday visit. I got caught up in the tailgating party instead. (Although I did scroll down to see all your lovely pinkness). I am jealous. We just don't do the tailgating thing up here in Maine. I love football and I love to cook and I really love to party. Looks like you guys were having fun doing all 3. Thanks for sharing.

Good morning bj, I am visiting yesterday's posts for OD Weds. finally. Big day yesterday but today I am hanging out with my blogging friends and lovin' it. I would have loved to hang out with you at your tailgating party. So much fun and good food too. Your gr daughters are all adorable and so are you. I wish I had a 'Dave' to cook out for us. Smile. My dh does not like anything about cooking. sigh.

We missed the first Gator game in Fl. because of my brother's 50th anniversary. It was worth it. We had four days of family and fun.

Life is good and I am so blessed.
Love you bunches,
Jeanne

Hello BJ,

Love your attitude! Your grand daughters are beautiful. My only grandchild is three months old and as much as I absolutely love this stage, I cannot wait until he is old enough for me to be able to do things with him. I want to be able to spend as much time as possible with him and any future grand children. I was truly blessed by having my great grandparents and grandparents in my life and cherish all the memories from our time together. I know your grands will feel the same.

Sounds and looks like everyone had a great day! Thanks for sharing it with us.
