Bedding on the brain...

As most of you know, I am working hard on getting a tiny guest bedroom
"up to snuff"...
Red, black and white are the colors all over our cottage and
that's what I want for this bedroom...
I will take either of these looks but...SURE do want the one on the right...
..so stinkin' cute.

HOWEVER...I also have my eye on SOLID WHITES...
An ideal situation would be to have your colors...
and a solid white for a wonderful CHANGE OF SCENERY...
So clean...and crisp....and GO WITH anything....

Some of the modern bedding, like this amazing ALL WHITE,
is just beautiful.....it, along with LOTS more beautiful bedding can be found at CSN ONLINE STORES.
*
Having a breathtaking FIRE PLACE in this room surely didn't hurt the looks any !! :)
**
I am doing a review for CSN ONLINE STORES....my first.
I've had several giveaways but this time chose to do a review of something
I've had my eye on over there for sometime....
They have so so many great things there and I'll show you later what I will be choosing.
*

The above is a bedroom I did during the winter...
Yes...bedding is such a wonderful and quick way to change
up the entire mood of your bedrooms.
While I love the colors I am using...
I STILL would LOVE to have a spare WHITE SET............ just waiting in the wings...:)
**
Tell ya what...let's sit down, have a piece of  french toast,
smothered in cinnamon apples...and a cup of DUNKIN DONUT coffee
and dream about our bedrooms and what we'd really like to do with them....
i just love daydreaming....

I love both bedrooms and agree with you that the one on the right is so stinken cute! I'm on the look out for a new bedroom set and have seen so many but none that I wanted to bring home.

Oh I am with you, both of the first pictures would look fabulous, the one on the right is especially nice, however the white is wonderful too. Hopefull come spring I can work on my guest room. I have no idea what to do there. I can't wait to see what you decide. Hugs, Marty

I love white bedding. I also love that top left picture--has the reds, but has a pretty simplicity too. Now the breakfast looks so yummy!

I can't wait to see what you're going to get! I too love CSN stores. I just ordered something yesterday for my review and can't wait to show you everyone!

I too love that black, white and red bedding on the left. I wonder if it is Ralph Lauren? Anyhow, the white would be amazing too because you could change it up with different accessories so easily.

I'll click on the link too, so that they can see they are getting traffic from your site!

Hi BJ,

Love the photo's. You are my kind of gal. Black, white and red work just fine for me too.

Have a blessed week.

Big hugs,
Barb

I do love that right hand bedroom look BJ! Yum! I also like the idea of all white becausr you can throw a colorful duvet across the bottom of the bed and spark it up a bit but it looks so fresh and crisp! Right now I am trying to figure out what to do with the master bedroom to finish it off. If only I could choose just what I want, but the budget isn't there, so it's time to see what I can do on the cheap:>)

Hi BJ! It's funny you should post this as I just got new bedding for my room YESTERDAY!! I'm fairly excited about it actually, because I think I've had the same old drab coverlet on it for nearly as long as I've had my 17-year old son!!!! Trouble is, now I need new curtains, and I want to start painting the furniture... WHAT have I gotten myself INTO?!!!.. Well it should be fun, no matter how gradual the process may be!! Hope you had a nice weekend! ~tina

So many beautiful bedding sets! I love the first two the best. AND I love your winter look. Very Cute! I used to changed my bedding with the season because it was the easiest way to get a "linen" fix.

I'm all for the white as you have a more versatile color for changing it out with your every whim!

I'm tellin' ya', BJ ... I'm packing on the #s visiting you ... now I think I'll go get a Hostess Sno Ball, pink at that.

We are travelling, will keep up as best I can ..

Well, they are all pretty to me! The white is beautiful but too easy to get dirty:)

Let's sit down and talk about it with coffee. Decisions are easier to make while sitting at the table!

Enjoy your evening and Love your new look!

HUGS!

They are all so wonderful, it would be hard to choose. But all white would be calming.

Such gorgeous bedding, love it all! and what a nice way to daydream, over a good cup of coffee and some delicious looking French toast!

Sounds as if you've got a good handle on the direction you're going with your bedroom. I'm all over the place. Typical of me. :D

Looks like you are definitely on the right road! I love black and white ... you can mix so much with them and red is an eye popper!

Black and white is a favorite of mine for decorating as well. Come to think of it, I may have a red accent in just about every room in our house. I love the way your guest room is coming out...anyone would be lucky to spend the night there.

Mary said...

Oh, I'm really liking white lately. You can always jazz it up with different color throw pillows...

And I have a question -- how do you stay so skinny with all the WONDERFUL food you always show?!

Oh how pretty!! I love the one on the right!!

I am in the (slow moving) process of redoing my home. Money is the first consideration, and then finding what I actually want.

The problem is I NEED to get the floors done before doing anything else...and we cant afford that at this point. We are in a holding pattern...LOL

Blessings,
Sherri

Sigh... linen envy! I LOVE linens so much. Making a beautiful bed is good for the soul, not to mention sleeping in one.
It's so hard to pick, they are fabulous!

When I go to our local stores to look at bedding and in general home decor I have real trouble deciding as I love all the colours that are available. I have to say I like both your choices and they would be wonderful in your bedroom. In our climate I find white too cold for winter and need some colour to make me feel warmer.

I too, love to dream of all-white.

Mmmmm, your blog has a "square-ish-look" to it now. Not a perfect description, but..

I'm thinking this comes with use of new Editor... Maybe... Seems I've noticed it, on blogs...

Nope, I haven't had time to use your instructions, but I will. And am grateful for them!!! I was busy this weekend, being "Aunt Bridget" :-)

Gentle hugs...

I've been in that bedroom dreaming mode for a month now. I want to change things up, too - just waiting for the budget to catch up!! That social security budget sure is a dream buster. Have a great week dreaming. Sally

I love the red, black and white look and the white look and many, many looks. I wish I could just change all of my decor monthly.

I spent the weekend photo sorting and came across a photo of my two little boys at Prairie Dog Town many years ago. It reminded me of you. Are those prairie dogs still popping up?

Best,
Bonnie

I love both bedrooms, but partial to the twin beds in a guest room. I don't know why, but they always look spiffy! Red, white and black are great colors too. Looks so comfy!

I really would like to find a nice bedspread set. I am tired of all the bedskirt/pillows look. Simpler! Haven't found one yet though!
Your toast looks delicious!

Pat @ Mille Fiori Favoriti said...

I do like that all white bedding BJ! It is very calming. I also like your black red and white color scheme. Using only three colors in decorating gives you a lot of mix and match ability, so even if you go for all white you can add on to it later.

Sue said...

I love that set on the right...all of those layers. I don't have a bed in the house with that many layers of pretty things. I'm too much of a mess for all white. Even in a guest room I would find some way to trip and spill tea or nail polish on it!

Oh BJ Sweetie...
What a beautiful share today. Now I adore the room that you did, it is so fresh and beautiful, but I have to admit I am smitten with the one on the right too. Yes I love white, but can't imagine keeping it clean here in the desert. The dust seems to come in somehow.

Now that french toast with the apples, am I to late for breakfast? Girl that looks so yummy. You are the hostess with the mostess.

Many thanks for the beautiful share today. I would so love to walk through you cottage, it is SO beautiful sweet friend. It is like walking into home.

Many hugs and much love, Sherry
