COME VISIT SKAGWAY, ALASKA...then we'll have some tea....

SKAGWAY is another beautiful little town just full of CHARM...
and tourist...... :-)

I said, "MR. SWEET...get your silly self OUT of that place !!"

Actually....aren't they just adorable !!

All of the photos from our cruise were taken by me with a tiny CANON POWERSHOT SD750.

I was very pleased with how well it captured ALASKA ...including the zoom used to capture the beautiful mountains as we passed by on the ship.

I am working on moving up to a better camera but still in the "I want" stage...I had NO earthly idea that I would ever be interested in photography...just another wonderful interest I have developed by being in the company of other photographers...and BLOGGING.

If you go here someday..you will just love this pretty town.
We really enjoyed our time there and would dearly LOVE
for our entire family to see it someday.

TEA TIME...
**
Well, my gosh...
if PILLSBURY ever stops making these ORANGE CINNAMON ROLLS
I guess we will just curl up and die !!
*
As you might guess from the many times I serve them...
WE LOVE 'EM !
*
BLUEBERRY CRISPS...very tasty...
especially with a spot of TEA..!
*
I do, indeed, need new and pretty teacups but alas...
I am running out of room to STORE all my treasures..
*

Am I ever going to find another pretty tea set.??

This 2 tiered stand came from DOLLAR GENERAL several years ago..I have watched for them again but I've not seen another...
Thanks so much for stopping by....

Hi BJ,
You know I looked up cute in the dictionary and there you were!!! LOL
You are so dang cute and I love your posts. You do pretty well with your camera and I love how you captured the flowers in the foreground of the ship photo.

I cannot believe that you found the tiered stand at the dollar store! Wow, I am going to have to go more often.

Loved seeing Skagway. Can't wait until we have a chance to go see it for ourselves! And thank you for the 'goodies' - I helped myself. I assumed they didn't have any calories!

I love your tea party, BJ! And I love your goodies you're serving AND your photos of your cruise. All WONDERFUL!

You asked about the dishes I had in my post. I haven't used them in a post yet. That was their debut on my blog. I held that post, and then I finally decided to wait to do it on Lisa's birthday this year. I went ahead and did LK's tea party, but I threw in a pitcher for 'pretend' ice tea. ;-)

Hugs to you, sweet lady...

Hi BJ!! I love those crescent rolls, too! I think your dishes are perfect....aren't they the ones you picked up not too long ago at an estate sales?

LOVE your Alaska photos...I think Alaska provides the perfect kind of beauty for any photographer. You just demonstrated that a huge, expensive camera is not necessary when you have such amazing scenery to photograph...plus, your camera is not heavy and bulky to carry around!

Hope you had a great 4th! L, Dana

Oh my gosh I have tried twice to leave my comment and the computer has messed up.
Okay I am screaming about the note about the high school earrings. I have had this on my sidebar for a month and not one single comment. I think it is hysterical.
Secondly (or fourthly since I keep trying to post this comment) I think an Alaskan cruise is the only one I would ever go on again having done the who Mexican thing. It looks so appealing.

The scenery in ALaska is so breathtaking! Thank you for sharing it with us. If you find another camera I would love to know what you get. I have a whoopdy-do SLR but it can be a little bulky to carry everywhere. I need an inexpensive point & shoot to throw in my purse.
Seeing the pictures of your tea makes me want one of those yummy orange rolls:>}

-clapping hands- I'm so happy that you have been *bitten* by the photography *bug*! It's wonderful, as you have already seen. [Just look at these amazing pics, you took, on your vacation!]

Me'thinks it's fine to have fun and learn, with a small camera. At least, that's what I did. And later, I moved up to my present one. [Not too far 'up', 'cause I can't afford the really fancy ones!]

But guess what? You get a new camera and you have to go-back-to-school and learn the instruction book. -sigh- Which I'm not gooooood at. -sigh- So sometimes I wonder? Should I have just stayed with my original little one? ,-))))

All of which, is just rambling on my part. Forgive! It is soooooooo damn hot up here in Yankee Land. -bleahhhhhhh-

-Fanning self- Have much photography fun!!! :-)

Your photography is wonderful. I have a friend who was in Alaska, as was my father many years ago..and both praise it highly, talk often and fondly of it, and now my friend has even started a blog about his time there.

I love your pictures of Alaska!

Also, bj, NOW I KNOW you are just trying to make me crazy! Yes, I suppose I could go buy some of those Danish from Pillsbury, but for some reason, I doubt they would taste the same if not baked and served with a "spot" of tea, by you! You do know what I mean? :)
I knew that you would! I think it is the way things are served..how folks are made to feel in your home, and you have a way of making us all feel so welcome! :)
A perfect way to start my morning! Excuse me while I warmeth my coffee in the micro.. :)
Hugs and love,
Mona
