A TEA IN THE ROSES....

My roses have just OUT DONE themselves this spring.
Please come with me to the back yard for a
TEA IN THE ROSES
*

There's so much PINK from the roses, it is reflected on the food and the tablecloth...

and the sweet fragrance is just almost more than I can bear...so so SWEET...

My red transferware TEA POT looks magnificent back here in all the ROSES....

Fresh biscuits with jelly...
Ginger Snap cookies...one of my favorites...
ever since I was a tiny little girl.
Candle light in the day....? WONDERFUL
...see the ROSY GLOW...
*
... the vintage books, encased in twine....

My little mama bought these about 35 years ago ....
at a GARAGE SALE...of all places.. There's several CLASSICS here...
for another post at a later time.... ;>)
Biscuits...always good...
**
Ripe, juicy PURPLE grapes in the top bowl...
Lots of lace...just adds to the atmosphere...
just like GLOVES and PEARLS
worn, years ago, to most TEAS...

This is like looking thru
ROSE COLORED GLASSES...

Ahhh, that is so pretty! Reminds me of my grandma who used to set up little tea parties for my sister and I outside by her rose bush. I love ginger snaps too, my favorite with a cup of hot chocolate before bed.
We got snow today! I think we have some how missed Spring! :D
