TOUGH ENOUGH TO WEAR PINK
*
was created by entrepreneur and breast cancer survivor Terry Wheatley to bring the
sport of PROFESSIONAL RODEO and the western community together to rally against BREAST CANCER.
*
Since its inception in 2004, TETWP has empowered rodeos and western events in the U.S. and Canada to focus attention on the need for a cure.
To date, the campaign has raised $5 MILLION DOLLARS for breast cancer charities, much of which stays right in the community. The grassroots movement has inspired other sports communities to mount their own TETWP campaigns, spreading a message of hope and support that reaches beyond the rodeo arena to competitors, families and fans across America.

AWESOME !!!
YOU BEAUTIFUL LADIES....You bring tears of gratitude to my eyes every time I see you...
THANK YOU
for all you do to SUPPORT finding THE CURE.....
*
*
Nearly 200,000 women in the US are diagnosed with breast cancer every year and is the most common form of cancer in women. That number is way too high. Chances are either you or someone you know has dealt with this disease.
************
My love and honor go out to all the women (and men) who HAVE breast cancer, HAVE HAD it in the past and now are a BREAST CANCER SURVIVOR, or KNOW SOMEONE who is fighting this DREADED AND HORRIBLE DISEASE that has taken so many of our sisters and brothers...
PLEASE CONTINUE TO PRAY WITH ME that the CURE is just right around the corner....
Please GOD...show our doctors and researchers THE WAY TO THE CURE.

Great post for a worthwhile cause!! You are lucky to gat an annual mammogram in the US: we in the UK are about every 3 years to the age of 50 and then less often!!!
XXXX
I had my mammogram yesterday....thank you for reminding everyone how important it is!
Hugs,
Penny
Your dang right girl I'll wear PINK every day for the cause...it's my signature color...Great post my Dear friend...I pray all is well in your world today...Hugs and smiles Gl♥ria
What a great post, BJ!!
I loved seeing your roses, too.
Fabulous post. It really got me thinking. I go for a mamogram once a year and it's FREE. I can't believe that in the USA you have to pay $ 500.00 ! it's not fair ! I will stop complaining every time I have to go to have one done !
Many hugs and blessings, joey
Beautiful post BJ. Yes we need to continue to raise money to find a cure for this awful disease. Love your roses. Beautiful color.
A beautiful post, BJ! All those fighting the fight of breast cancer and those who have lost, are all heroes! I believe there are a lot of us who are brave enough to wear pink! Your coral roses are gorgeous! Thank you for posting and I wish you a beautiful Pink Saturday weekend.
Blessings,
Sandi

BJ, what gorgeous roses - that color is incredible. Thank you for the cancer awareness message. It's such a horrible disease, and it seems we hear of someone else with it every day. Thank you so much for linking to Favorite Things. laurie
Hello BJ~this unfortunate disease has affected too many friends and family members. Whenever it's a choice between purchasing a "pink" product I'll reach for pink every time. every little bit will add up to the bigger and better outcome if we all pitch in.
After seeing your delicious German pancakes I figured out what I was doing wrong with mine...now they're great.
We've had a few baby roses bloom, but it's too early for the standard roses. So, I enjoyed seeing your beautiful coral roses.
Sweet wishes,
Sara

Hey ya! Thanks for coming by! Amen to your prayer for the cure for cancer. Even for better drugs to get through it. Love your coral roses. Thank the Lord for the rains and the blossoms they brought. My roses are shutting down - it's already been hot. We had a good rain last night! Yeah! Our ground is so cracked. I'm sure the roses don't like it that dry. THanks, Jenn Happy Pink Saturday!
Beautiful post. My daughter is at a fund raiser today for cancer. She' there for my Dad and a dear friend of hers who died 2 weeks ago at 40. Very beautiful post.
