WE'RE GETTIN' GREEN.....

All the snows throughout the winter...
the generous rains we've been blessed with throughout the spring
IS BEGINNING TO SHOW ....
*
OUT MY FRONT DOOR....
*

The little tiny KNOCK OUT rose bush I planted last summer...
has a few TINY roses on it today...
*

My little tiny VIOLETS are blooming and they are so pretty...
the only problem with them is that they bloom for about 2 weeks and ....their DONE !
Beautiful, lush greenery all summer, tho..
*
I LOVE MY VIOLETS....

Our big PECAN tree is COVERED in blooms so, unless we have a MIGHTY HAIL STORM,
(which WEST TEXAS is famous for THIS TIME OF YEAR)
we should have a fabulous BUMPER crop of delicious PECANS...
**

THEN I can make MORE
GERMAN SWEET CHOCOLATE CAKES...
Mr. Sweet's very favorite !!
Linking with beautiful SUSAN for OUTDOOR WEDNESDAY

Thanks for the great post, I'm drowning in my saliva now. Have a great week/weekend!

Oh man! I love German Choc. cake! Doesn't the spring green look beautiful on everything? We just had a hard freeze last night and I havent had the courage to look out the window at my flowering trees yet. I'm afraid it's not going to be pretty, but at least the leaves will be all right:>)

How great to be able to pick pecans from your own yard! That would be fun!

Did you say German Chocolate? Oh my mouth is watering...and fresh pecans on top of it! Goodness,I remember my Mamaw and Papaw's pecan tree, I used to eat them when they were still green because I just could not wait! Heheheee!

Very beautiful. We have a lot of volunteer violets in our yard from the woods next to us. I like them too. I liked your black and white tea the other day too. I don't think I ever commented. Your becoming one of my favorite bloggers! I love your fun comments and I think you like sweets around your house as much as the gang does around here.

I hope you have a great crop this year!

Your violets are beautiful. Everything looks so green and "spring". It would be so nice to live where we could have a pecan tree. Oh the heavenly things to cook.
