A PLAY-LIKE PROM.....from 2007

I am playing in SUNDAY FAVORITES with the lovely CHERI....
This is where we can do a REPOST of one of our favorite POSTS from THE PAST..
This 2007 post was a PLAY-LIKE PROM PARTY
and we all had a blast !!

Have you EVER, in your entire life, seen such a to*die*for dress?

I just know my date is going to fall all over himself when he sees me in this dreamy creation. (Yeah, and my waist is just that small and my boobs just that big, too!!)

I had SUCH a hard time deciding on the color of shoes but....the white won out and looked so good with my dress. The heels are a little high for dancing but I'll just kick them off when I start to "shake a leg".

OOOOOO, would you just look at this fabulous pearl necklace my date brought me? *sigh*

Oh, how did he know my favorite color is RED? And that I LOVE Cads??

Oh....and here he is, my date at last !
It was such a hard decision to choose between Hugh Grant and Harrison Ford but Mr. Ford is getting pretty old and I didn't know if he could stay up with me on the dance

(now, I KNOW Mr. Grant wasn't even A SPARKLE IN HIS FATHER'S EYES during my REAL LIFE prom days but....this is "PLAY-LIKE" remember...heheheh

Ahhhhh....I had such a great time, NATASHA....thanks for the PROM !!

What a cute post. However, if Mr. Paul Newman was still with us, he would be my date, old or not! Miss that pretty face...

Ah, Dream Date come back to life. Remember that board game from DECADES ago?

Beautiful prom dress.... my older brother's date wore a similar one, back in '62. Pretty snazzy. My Mom was shocked at the strapless-ness of it!

Now the next time you have a "Play Prom" you need to invite me to it! But, give me plenty of notice so I can get all the proper things I will need! Not to mention my date, Mr. John Travolta (yup, love that man)will have to make sure he is in town. You know how those silly actors are always jetting all over the place. It does get tiring, but what can you do?

How fun was this. Loved it. I would have a hard time deciding between Johhny Depp the actor and Karl Malone the basketball player.
Never mind, I'll bring both.

Hi sweet lady...

Ohhh...what great fun, Darlin'!!! Your prom date makes me want to go and plan one for myself! I never got to go to prom...boohoo! That dress is fabulous! In fact, my mama's wedding dress was just like that only she had a lace bodice and long sleeves! My folks just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary two years ago and my mama had her wedding dress out on a dress form for all of us to was sooo beautiful! Anyway...I'm chasing bunny trails here! Hehe! Gotta tell ya, I love, love, LOVE that pretty red caddilac convertible! Wished I had one of those right now...and the money that they're worth! Hehe! Okay...I would change one thing...Hugh Grant wouldn't be my date. I'd have to be going to the prom with honey...he's still the sexiest man I've ever seen! Hehe!

Girl, I just loved this post! It was awesome and sooo much fun! Thank you so much for sharing it with us today for Sunday Favorites...loved it!!!

I hope that you're having a super Sunday, Darlin'!

And with Hugh Grant as your date, well, it does not get better than that!
