I made some mini APPLE CINNAMON and BLACKBERRY MUFFINS...
and MR. SWEET brought home some fresh BLACKBERRIES..
Got out this cutest little wee TEA/COFFEE pot that I found the other day at
GOODWILL, downtown.
I really and truly don't know for sure but I THINK it's a little TEAPOT for TWO...do you??
It sees to have the SHAPE of a little coffee pot, tho....???
**
But, SOLID WHITE IRONSTONE...........oh, I am sure lovin' it to pieces...
**
Now, right beside the little WHITE TEAPOT FOR TWO sat these two adorable cups..No saucers...but two of my olden white Ironstone saucers looks perfect beneath the pretty cups.
Now, I ask you....is it ok to use IRONSTONE with CHINA ?
It surely is OK with ME ....**
I know this beautiful vintage RED CLIFF IRONSTONE covered sugar bowl, in the GRAPE pattern, seems a little large for this tiny teapot. ...but as pretty as it is, it doesn't mind being bigger...not one bit.
*
The band on these little WEDGWOOD cups is a teal color that I just can not capture with my camera...
trust me...they are very pretty...and thin...and dainty..and perfect for a hot cup of tea.
For just a dollar each, I couldn't resist them.....of COURSE not !
*
A dollop of sweet whipped cream also makes EVERYthing seem special !! :O)
(my mama used to say that she could "eat a cow chip if it had whipped cream on it !"

I'm thrilled that you came by today...
I hope you'll make yourself a nice cup of tea, put up your feet and RELAX !
YOU DESERVE IT !!

Thanking you for having tea with me! What a wonderful rainy day for a cup of hot tea! I will forever in love with your tray, and love it every time I see it, and hope I will see it many more times! I just simply love the cups you found! The sugar bowl is so lovely! At first, my thought was your pot might be a chocolate pot, for the top is similar. But maybe not! I would use it for Tea! I use coffee, teapots, ect for tea. If it has a handle it goes, for me. lol I am in love with the muffins! Apple cinnamon, one of my favorites! I never had black berry muffins! Pack me a to go bag and I will send you my address, I want to taste them so bad! lol I will admire them from a far! lol Thanks for joining me to day!
your biscuits and muffins look so yummy!
I love that little coffee/tea pot, I would have picked that up if I saw it first...lol, it is just the best for tea, hot chocolate, just for two, how sweet, and your wonderful sweet treats, I can smell them from where I am....Love your rain, it is sunny and warm today in ca. rain coming in next two days....

Lovely tea party BJ, I always enjoy my visit with you. Love, love, love that gorgeous try.
Have a blessed day.
Hi,
I just came for a moment and had a look on your tea table. The white porcelain looks really harmonic with the pastel tray. I like the composition of the blue designed cups, the flowers and the blackberries. And the muffins looks yummy!
Thank you for showing this. Have a nice easter time.
Johanna

Hot tea and muffins sound even better on a rainy spring day don't they? I jsy love hat litle ironstone teapot!
BJ, I love your blog! Love the tea you set today too...you talked about always being on the hunt for pretties to re-use/re-home/re-love for all the tea parties in blogland...that's me, too! Always thrifting! Glad you got your rain, and thanks for tea today. It was truly lovely!
Blessings - Beth
I'm not much of a hot tea drinker, but those muffins and berries sure look good! I do love tea cups though and your tray is beautiful! Very nice!
Hi BJ
You always host such a great party. I loved the muffins especially with the cream. Those are great deals you got at the Thrift shops...what we all do without thrift shops? Thanks for joining the party today.
Hugs, Rhondi
Hi BJ! Loved your post today! I think the pot you used was lovely, no matter what name you classify it by! The cups are beautiful too!.. As you can see at my OWN tea parties, I tend to treat each one almost like playing dress-up! It's fun to mix and match, to present a theme/look that is fitting for the occasion!.. Thank you for the tea and muffins! Everything was lovely! ~tina
Yes please, I will certainly join your queue for another muffin. Thanks for a delicious visit, Eli
Dear One, how super deliciously wonderful to find a blogger, happy with the Spring rain! Just wonderful!
Seems some of us are kind of gloomy about the rain, rain, rain. But reading your post, puts it in perspective. I love it.
And I want to see if I can get a puddle picture or two, without getting wet myself. :-)
Lots and lots of gentle hugs,
On and I love that saying of your Mama's... That she could "eat a cow chip if it had whipped cream on it !" Love it!!!
:-))))
What a beautiful tray. I love it and your white ironstone is gorgeous. I love the little pot you found. It is perfect for tea for two. Your muffins looks wonderful. Now I could really enjoy this. Lovely. Thanks so much for joining the party. Hugs, Marty
I am totally in love with your vintage tray too!!
You are so cute...while others may complain of a rainy day, you are glad and enjoying yourself. Yes, please pour me a cup!
That tray is simply spectacular! And I love that Wedgwood pattern of your pretty cups -- so elegant! I love anything blackberry, and I'm sure your muffins are delicious!
Darling,, the tea was brewed perfectly, the muffins scrumptious and the tea setting lovely, thanks for the invite.

Hi BJ!
A very welcoming tea setting! And since I am a major mix and matcher kind of gal, I love the china with ironston and some pretty little cut glass! Life is too short not to "mix it up"!!
Have a wonderful day!
So inviting. And those Wedgwood cups are a terrific pattern and a great find. Thanks for sharing that beautiful and comfortable setting.
I enjoyed joining you for tea. That's funny about the whip cream; I have a friend that would likely think the same as your mother. :-)
BJ, you have set a lovely table with a delectable menu...everything looks wonderful.
BJ,
First of all, I LOVE, LOVE LOVE that tole tray!!! Beautiful beyond belief!!
The white tea/coffee pot is precious! Understated elegance!

Yes, I would love to sit down and have a cup of tea with you. I would probably bore you to tears talking about my cats and my grandbaby-to-be though. Have a great evening. Deb
Beautiful as always. I've followed you for a while - especially b/c I saw that you live in West Texas and your weather is Lubbock. I live in Lubbock but didn't know it rained today.
