My Valentine's Day with MR. SWEET...

2/18/10
Our day together wasn't earth shattering...
we didn't do too much that day...
**
BUT....
he did fix dinner for me !!
SWEET..

....so.......Mr. Sweet made
SHISHKEBOB
....with onion, tomatoes, peppers and squash...
SAUTEED MUSHROOMS...
our favorite BLACKBERRY WINE...
*
None of my beloved bread since we are so trying to stay away from so many startches...
"This was delicious, Mr. Sweet and I thank you dearly!"
(he even cleaned up the kitchen....:O)
**
I MUST confess that I DID help set the table...
My man tends to think of EASY CLEANUP which would be PAPER PLATES...
but he served us on our RED REAL PLATES...
i love that!!
**

The dessert was so sweet....
Frozen French Vanilla Yogurt...
*

with sugar free PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES...

....isn't it a warm, fuzzy, wonderful feeling to share sweet time with one we love!!
t'was delicious...!!

AND....2 tickets to see RIVERDANCE, the Irish dancing phenomenon...
**
I am just absolutely BESIDE MYSELF...
a PERFECT Valentine's gift...
and...I didn't even have to ask!!
:O)
I'll let you know how we loved it !!

Well....indeed...the tickets to the land of green, if just by dance...! AH....now that is a true expression that man loves you and you are his 4 leaf clover!

I've spent a couple days down with a headache, so I just read 3 posts at once. I love old quilts although I don't sew a stitch. I can't imagine making one. I have several from both of our families. Yours are so special.

I also love white and the ironstone is wonderful. I don't know how you find such good things at GW. I've been in about 4 different ones now and I wouldn't have taken home a thing. My area just doesn't donate the good stuff.

And...I'm glad you had a nice Valentine's Day. Riverdance would be so fun to see in person!

What a sweet guy you have! My DH loves to cook too. He made our special meal on Valentine's, with love of course! Where did you find a candle that said Sweet Nothings? Perfect for you!

Awwwwwwww, that was so cute. And we got another tiny peek at your home. :-)

I've never seen RIVERDANCE but I'm sure it's an amazing show. Enjoy.

Oh and...... 'Uncle A.' always cooks here. Since he became semi-retired. He likes to cook, much more than I do. So it's great. :-)

Hello BJ, I would faint if my hubby ever tried to cook a meal. LOL. He is so not good in the kitchen. I know, it is all my fault. I should have trained him better. Mr Sweet just makes me smile. I bet it was delicious too. OK so you helped with the table setting. A small price to pay!!!

You won't believe this...We are going to see Michael Flatly tomorrow night at our new Performing Arts Center. This my dh thought of all by himself. He is good for lots of things. Just not cooking. Smile

Hugs xoxo, Jeanne
