I LOVE THIS TIME OF YEAR.....

I am playing in THE FOURTEEN DAYS OF LOVE
with LIZ at THE BRUMBLEBERRY COTTAGE..
This is day 4 and the theme...
STRAIGHT TO THE HEART..
**
I love HEARTS...
the little crystal heart dish belonged to my mother and was
PROBABLY bought at the 5 and Dime...sometime in the 3 early 40's..
It is so pretty...heavy, too.
*
The little HOME heart pillow is, by far, the cutest and
most loved little pillow I've ever had.
Can you LOVE a little pillow, SHELIA ?
Why, you bet your goose-down feathers, you can !!
My good friend, KATHY that runs KATHY'S COTTAGE made this
beautiful pillow for me..
She has such pretty things in her Etsy Shop..
you should go by and see if there's something you'd love to have...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I am also playing with SUSAN for TABLESCAPE THURSDAY
and
MICHAEL for FOODIE FRIDAY...
WOO HOO !
This is just a little area beside my library bookshelves..
just behind our little "all occasion" table in the living room..
by that, I mean that sometimes we eat on it...other times, we
might play games on it....
but today....
WE ARE EATING ON IT !! :o)
***
RED just seems to be THE color for a VALENTINE'S DAY celebration...
I've set this table, for MR. SWEET and myself, in the simplest of ways...
**
*
I just ADORE the little WILLOW TREE figurines...
**
YELLOW TAIL wine..
a friend brought it over and it is waaay too DRY for my taste..
and...a little STRONG...but I LOVE the bottle..:O)
*
The cream colored ESTATE SALE dishes went very well
with the rest of the creams I used here...
I am SO proud of those dishes...
********************
I wanted to share this recipe, in case some of you
have never had it...
It is SO tasty....and SO healthy...
and you're gonna like it a lot !
**
It's quick...easy...and your hubby is gonna love ya forever !
It is just full of flavor that you'd not think was there...but...it IS !!
Ever eat at PEI WEI restaurant ?? This is SOMEwhat like THEIR
LETTUCE WRAPS....
**
THESE just about bring MR. SWEET to his knees...
EVERY TIME !!
Wow BJ, just saw your Snow Warning. Added it to my blog too.
Wondering where you learned of this?
I hate the ding-dang Snow thingy myself. It slows down blog loading, etc.
Wow!!!
Auntie sezzzzzz... said...
Would you please give a link to where you found that Warning... About the Snow widget being dangerous to your computer? Please and thank you.
BJ, I love your hearts and black-and-your recipe looks delicious. I didn't use the snowflake app this year. A while back, my visitor counter was hacked by a dating site and I had to delete everything on my sidebar before I isolated the problem. Scary times when this happens.
I especially love the latch heart hanger on the door. I love that your "glass heart" is really a crystal heart and that it has a family history. That tablescape thing - I've just got to get myself together for that. It's neat and something I would love to do. :) Thank yoU! Jenn
Good morning BJ. I too love hearts and your post. So much prettiness. I am definitely making the lettuce wraps. Thanks for the recipe. I can see you are doing great on your diet...NO SWEETS except you. Big smile.
We have snow again and we are snowed in AGAIN! Our driveway is lethal. At least I still have the net. I don't know how to use the snow trick. Good thing huh?
I will mail your surprise as soon as I can.
Love, xoxo, Jeanne
Oh, BJ, thank you for the notice about the snow widget. I have been having trouble with my blog screen for the past few days. It would not stay on. Something else interrupted my screen. And then this morning, a nasty site appeared. I took off the widget and things seem to be better.
Tere are some new Willow Tree pieces out now just in time for Valentine's Day-J'aime, Surrounded By Love, and Love Angel. We've sold out at my store and awaiting replacements for next weekend.
