HUGS AND KISSES TO YOU...

ON THIS DELIGHTFUL DAY OF
THE FOURTEEN DAYS OF LOVE, with LIZ at THE BRAMBLEBERRY COTTAGE.
the theme is
"OH SO CRAFTY"...
*
I AM afraid I don't have very much in the way of CRAFT LOVE at all to show because....
I AM SO NOT CRAFTY !
*
This little XOX hangs in my guest bedroom.
*

A granddaughter and I bought the unfinished letters at Hobby Lobby. We picked out scrapbook paper we liked...I made the XOX and she chose to make P E A C E for her bedroom.
I can not, for the life of me, find photos of those but I know I have them somewhere. HERS turned out MUCH cuter than mine.

It was a lot of fun making them together....
So, I am afraid this is all of MY CRAFTY LOVE I can muster for this day......

but I do have some more crafts to show you...crafts that some of my very good friends have done and so generously given to me.

********************************************************

BUT, first....
I promised to show another treasure I happened across while thrifting with my friend, MARTHA...and, happily, it is in the RIGHT colors of the DAY !!
*
...t'is a pretty little teapot...
I was delighted that the creamer and sugar bowl was with it..
No cups....:>(
*
....but I love the deep pink transfer ware and now I have something
else to hunt for....
pretty cups and saucers to keep this little set company...
This is another GOODWILL find..
3 cheers for GOODWILL !!
**
I will invite you to tea very soon !
Maybe a tea in front of a nice, roaring fire ?
*
Once again, I wanted to share these adorable place mats that my long-time friend, ALICE, made for me last year. NOW...this lady is talented. She is a quilt maker like no other....she made both her daughters wedding gowns...there's not a thing that she can't make BEAUTIFUL at her sewing machine.
**
I LOVE my place mats..!
Black and white POLKA DOTS and red hearts...
some of my very favorite things!
See that little blue heart ??
*

Just a few romantic but faux tulips in a beautiful
box with HEARTS around the lid...Is there enough BLUE here to count, Sally?

For your snacking pleasure at this most delightful time of year,
I am bringing you...
FRESH RIPE, JUICY, SWEET STRAWBERRIES,
A CHOCOLATE DOUBLE FUDGE BROWNIE
AND BAKED PEACH TURNOVERS....
***********
I am also linking today with:

BEVERLY for PINK SATURDAY

MARY for MOSAIC MONDAY ....
SALLY for BLUE MONDAY
CIELO for SHOW US YOUR COTTAGE MONDAY
MARY for RUBY TUESDAY

****************

O..and today I received the following CUTENESS in the mail....

A beautiful little tassel to hang in my kitchen...in all my perfect colors...and, look...POLKA DOTS...PLAIDS...TEAPOT...
looks just like MARY ENGELBRIET !!

**
Doesn't it look just perfect for my red kitchen!!

My good good friend, GLORIA over at HAPPY TO BE made this just for me! I am so thrilled to have a piece of her beautiful work.

Thank you, GLORIA...I am just beside myself ! I LOVE IT SO MUCH...

BLESSINGS, bj

Happy Pink Saturday BJ...
Sweetie, I love that little teapot and the sugar and creamer bowls. How very precious it is. Really it would go with a lot of tea cups in color. Wouldn't have to match perfectly. I love it though.

Now girl that Gloria made you the most beautiful tassel I have seen. My goodness it does look like Mary Engelbreight. It would go perfect in my very cherry kitchen. I love it. I am going to have to look at it really hard and see if I can recreate one somewhat similar for my kitchen. I love it. It looks bright and cheery like you BJ.

I sure did love those polka dotted place mats also. So beautiful.

Have a beautiful Saturday, please stop by and let me share my pink post with you. Country hugs and much love...Sherry

Hi BJ,

Thanks for the warning on that snow wigdet. I hope people stop using it because I just find it kind of annoying.

Very cute XOX letters, by the way.
Have a great weekend!

You have a lot going on here. I'm not very crafty either...I love your letters. Did you Mod Podge them? That seems to be the thing around Blogland...not that I've ever done it.

Your teapot was quite a find. So pretty.

I have a snowman Gloria tassel...doesnt' she do a wonderful job making these darling things? Yours is so perfect for your house!

Oh everything is beautiful, as usual. :-)

And oh I'm so glad to see you say that you are not crafty. I'm not, and it can feel lonesome sometimes. Because, so many in "Pretty Blog Land" are. But wheeeeeeeeeeeeee... I know someone else who isn't, too. :-))))

What a great find on the pretty teapot set. And I love your tassel!

Where do I start?! Let's see...the teapot tassle your friend made is just like a Mary Englebreit; the place mats are darling! They would go perfectly in my sister's kitchen as would the tassel. Her kitchen is black and red and she love Mary E.
I like your Goodwill finds-the tea set is so very pretty.
Your XOX wall letters are darling. Oh, and I love the Marjolein Bastin box your tulips are in. I've admired her work (and collected it when i could) for years.
I just knew that snow widget was bad cuz it slowed everybodys' webpage down. But, I didn't know it was evil. That's awful it took Kim's computer out.
Happy Pink Saturday, Blue Monday, etc.etc.etc ;)

Hi BJ,

I think the XOX looks just perfect. You have done a beautiful job on it. I think my favorite of your pink offerings today has to be the faux tulips. Yes, I think the tassel is perfect for your red kitche. :)

Oh, and thanks for the words of advice about the snow. I never did install it because it made the screen move in ways I didn't like.

Sending magical fairy wishes once again for a .•*˙˙*•.HaPPy PiNk SaTuRdaY!.•*˙˙*•.

GHugs and kisses and hearts - it must be Feb 14, I'd say. But red is a wonderful color, on your beautiful dishes, and strawberries for dessert. The roses are wonderful rubies, a nice gift to receive, and admire too! Even tho I am big, I always enjoy the Necco candy hearts with the nice messages. Not at al tacky, but always fun!
