FRIENDSHIP..One of the BEST kinds of L.O.V.E.

FOURTEEN DAYS OF LOVE...DAY 14, with LIZ...
2/14/10 HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY TO ALL MY FRIENDS...

WHILE VALENTINE'S DAY IS USUALLY DESCRIBED AS A DAY FOR LOVERS....
SWEETHEARTS...
SPOUSES...
.... there's so many MANY different kinds of love..
for CHILDREN....
GRANDS....
PARENTS...
F.R.I.E.N.D.S.
only to name a few.....
***************
I am so thankful for my many friends...in real life and in Blogland..
The ones I've met blogging have become very dear to my heart,
and I dedicate this VALENTINE post to YOU...!
**
HAVE A BLESSED, WONDERFUL AND FUN DAY !
***
**************
O, and speaking of friends...

My sweet sister friend, JEANNE of BACKYARD NEIGHBOR
sent me a PRESENT...
a "JUST BECAUSE" present
and I am just beside myself....
**
FIRST...
take a look at this BEAUTIFUL little fingertip towel...
There's 2 of them and they are really beautiful..
I knew the minute I saw them exactly where they would go....
**

RIGHT here on my ROOSTER cabinet....

thanks so so much, JEANNE...they are just PERFECT !!
**

NEXT....THIS adorable TABLECLOTH....
RED and WHITE with a tiny bit of COUNTRY FRENCH YELLOW
**
RIGHT AWAY, it brought out the COUNTRY FRENCH in me
and I just HAD to do a little table setting......
**
THIS tablecloth could not have been more perfect for
my dining room, JEANNE...
You know me well, sweet friend.
**

And...look how cute it looks over there...hanging out with my
olden display rack that wants to be a BAKERS RACK when it grows up...
I JUST LOVE IT, JEANNE...
**

THANK YOU SO SO MUCH...FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART...
**

I MADE chocolate fudge for you today...
chock full of PECANS off my PECAN TREE...
With all the cold and snow, I could probably MAIL
YOU a piece without it melting...
but...guess you'll just have to "IMAGINE"
how good it is...
YOU know I've been doing without sugar for about a month now...
*
LET ME JUST SAY...
*
THIS CANDY MUST BE THE BEST candy in the whole wide entire world !
all the sugar nearly...NEARLY...made my teeth hurt ..
but not bad enuf to make me stop eating it !!
HUGS....

Oh BJ Sweetie...
Happy Valentine's Day. I love your gift of love. The little fingertip towels are just beautiful and I so adore the red checked tablecloth. You know me, I love red anything and everything, especially if there are cherries involved. I love the little threads of golden yellow. You sure made it pop with your beautiful accessories. The lit candle was beautiful.

Now that darn fudge, oh my gosh girl, I am knocking on the door would you please let me in? Love it. I get my fresh pecans from Moma and Daddy's trees each year that I go home to visit. They sure put store bought ones to shame don't they?

Well sweetie have a beautiful Valentine's Day tomorrow. Thank you for being such a wonderful friend. I so love to come and visit, and you are always so tolerable of me when I just drop in on you. I love it. Thank you for being just you BJ. You are the BEST. Country hugs sweetie...Sherry

Hi BJ, my cousin Bob just left to go home after a month of visiting with us. I love him dearly but he is a very needy guest. Entertaining him was a challenge because many days of the past month we have been snowed in. We couldn't even go to a movie. What's left??? CARDS!!! Oh and cooking, lots of cooking. LOL.

Thank you for such a sweet post about the simplest of gifts. I am so glad you are happy with them. I love how you did your table on the tablecloth. Bringing out the bit of yellow was a perfect idea. I knew the tablecloth would bring out the best tablescape. Something you are so good at... bringing magic to a lovely festive event. I want that fudge so bad. HA!

I do love you my dear sister friend. Happy valentines Day today and love to you always, Jeanne

PS: I spoke to Beverly and she is kind of puny but doing well. She has been through so much.

Mmmm, I love pecans like nobody's business. My dear mom used to pick a lb. of them for me every year at Christmastime. I can see her in my memory picking out all the hulls. And Texas/Oklahoma/Georgia pecans are the best!
