THIS has GOT to be the SWEETEST package I've ever received......

You might remember this CHRISTMAS MORNING photo of my youngest granddaughter, DEEDS...

As soon as I posted that photo of DEEDS,
KIM of MY DOMESTIC BLISS fame, emailed this photo of her daughter, AMY...
These beautiful girls look like twins....not to mention the same pj's..same position on wood floors..glasses and hair almost the exact same.
KIM and I laughed and emailed about this neat likeness of these sweet girls.
KIM told me she was going on a little trip to HERSHEY PA...and I said....E.N.V.Y.
WELL....WON'T YOU TAKE A LOOK at what I received in the mail one afternoon....
The card from KIM is so so cute....and sweet AMY even sent an envelope (with maybe a little note inside) to DEEDS...

SOLID BEAUTIFUL, WORK OF ART, DELICIOUS CHOCOLATE !
I just couldn't believe it.
It is so pretty that only artists could have produced it.
I am so impressed over it, I don't even know if I can EAT it....!!
Well....maybe I CAN eat it...since I have all these good photos of it...I CAN EAT IT !!

This is a HUGE block of thick, HERSHEY'S CHOCOLATE.
KIM...thank you from the bottom of my heart. This was such a sweet and thoughtful
gift and I will never, ever forget it.!

I have another memory and story regarding HERSHEY'S CHOCOLATE.
I blogged about a childhood memory of a first CHRISTMAS away from my daddy..divorce.
I was 7...for that CHRISTMAS, he sent me a whole, entire box of HERSHEY BARS and that was back when most sugar was going overseas.
I'll never forget that gift....and I'll never forget THIS one, either.

THANK YOU !

*NOTE ADDED
I took this huge beautiful candy for my home fellowship group to share
and they LOVED it !!
:O)

Yum! How SWEET that it also reminds you of that other great gift of chocolate from your Dad. Sometimes, the simplest of gifts are the best - it's all in the memories. Wouldn't it be neat if those two adorable girls could meet to become friends! Have a great week. Sally

Love the creativity of your mosaic! How about an engraved Hershey's chocolate! My favorite is the roasted almond.

I used to "make" candy like this. Actually, I melted chocolate and poured it into moldings. The huge candy card is impressive. Happy eating, BJ. You have a fortunate church group! Happy Blue Monday.

I love the twins and the same pjs too cool. At the same age my 17 year old daughter would have made been the blonde version of the girls. She used to sit the same way, but she never had cool pjs like that.

Love that chocolate, looks too good to eat - though that wouldn't stop me.
