SILVER SUNDAY

It's SILVER SUNDAY, hosted by GYPSY FISH
and it looks like the day has a SILVER LINING...
Go over and check out all the other silver in blogland.
This is the only time I can "play" since I don't have very much silver...
***
I have collected pretty silver spoons for a long time...and have given
most of them to a granddaughter that was interested in silver spoons...
I still have some more....some place....but ....where ?
**

BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTER brought this lovely silver candlestick to me from one of her trips..
I just love it !
***

I also collect tiny silver trays...
I don't like tarnished silver...I use a lot of WRIGHT'S SILVER POLISH...
but these are all tarnished right now....:(
(actually, this Silver post time slipped up on me!!)
**
A little silver picture frame...I also have some more of these....they must be in the same place those other silver spoons are !!
***

BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTER also brought this pretty silver tray to me...again, from a trip.
She is such a sweetheart and ....MY heart !
**
I love polishing my silver pieces.
Seeing them go from a dull and detail-hidden state to a beautiful, shiny masterpiece makes me smile...

HAVE A BLESSED SUNDAY....

It's a beautiful array you have there and the tarnish doesn't detract from the beauty!

Happy New Year, BJ!

When the silver is tarnished, it's easier to take pictures. So you can just see that as an advantage :). The patterened spoon is beautiful and I too have a thing for silver trays. Happy belated birthday and many happy returns!

BJ, what lovely silver treasures! I have looked at pieces of old silver in shops and then put them down thinking about all that polishing...I wonder if I might actually enjoy it? I sure do love they way they bring a touch of soft light to a room!

Have a blessed Sunday, Chris

What an incredible collection of silver spoons I love how the details pop on the handles....and please dont abandon us for lack of silver..it can be anything silver, glitter, chrome, grannies hair, the ever dropping mercury on the thermometer...there's tons of possiblities...have a glorious day!

Oh, BJ... pretty, pretty!

I see one spoon that particularly makes my heart go flitter flutter, and I'm wondering if it's a sugar shell. It has great work on it. I love all of your pretties, and it's nice to have a granddaughter who shares that love with you.

XO,

Sheila :-)

Hi BJ, thanks for stopping by my blog. I think in order to "follow" a typepad blog I think you need to use the "suscribe to this blog's feed" feature on them. Happy New Year!

Beautiful pieces! What tarnish? ;-)
I'd love to start collecting spoons. I was eyeing one on eBay a few days ago, but alas, the price went out of my range. There's always next time. :-)
