A Christmasy brunch for my sweetie and me....

I HOPE THIS IS YOUR BEST CHRISTMAS....EVER !
**

Often times, since Mr. Sweet is OLDEN and retired (shhhh) ...not a really strict schedule anymore, at all...
we have a nice, leisure BRUNCH...sometimes as late as 11 a.m....
**
Both of us love a late breakfast...and, boy, are we hungry when we wait this late..
**
***

...and we LOVE eating in the library end of the living room
because.....we love eating and watching tv..or reading...
Now, that may seem rude....but we don't mind....
**
Many thanks to SUSAN at BETWEEN NAPS ON THE PORCH for TABLESCAPE THURSDAY
and
MICHAEL at DESIGNS BY GOLLUM for FOODIE FRIDAY...
also linking with HOOTIN ANNI'S HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS
*****
I hope everyone is having a busy but fun time during this wonderful time of the year....

You do have an eye and a hand in the kitchen. Can we come over sometime and would you share? We like pancakes too?

Hi BJ
Your breakfast table looks so festive. I love the black and white!

I do love those polka dots of yours! Everything looks wonderful...and yours has real food. I will admit that we rarely use my tablescapes, unless the girls show up for coffee. We have become "sit in front of the tv" people too since the nest emptied.

BJ, it's late, but I wanted to see what creative tablescape you did this week, and I wanted to visit.
I love this cozy and warm table. I am looking for a small round, drop-leaf table to put in my family room, so my Bobby and I can eat in front of the fireplace.
I love the black and white. Very beautiful! Cheery and warm and just so you! I'm glad I visit!

BJ, Repeating myself, I wish I lived closer to you to be able to enjoy your home, you and the great food you fix. I would not be able to get through the door very long.
Pretty table as always and I love to read also when I eat.

I think that most of us eat in front of the TV, BJ; I know we do. I don't feel it's rude. Now, at Thanksgiving, the TV is off, of course, but on a day-to-day ...

bj,

Wonderful table. We like late breakfast as well. This retirement stuff is good. We also like romantic dinners for 2. I love to cook and we plan the dinner all week. China, silver, crystal - the whole works.

Your brunch looks so good; but I'm sure we couldn't get by waiting that long to eat. It looks wonderful for supper at our house. You just can't beat bacon anytime!! Enjoy getting ready for Christmas. Sally

Hello Bj, I love when you use your red and black. So fun and festive. I would be hungry by then too. In fact, I am hungry right now. It is past 12:00 and I haven't eaten a thing. I guess I'll have a leftover cheeseburger. I made them last night.

I know your food eaten on the prettiest tablescape in Texas was delicious. BIG smile.

Love you, Jeanne

You certainly have an incredible talent. How lavish you make a lowly pancake look! My favorite of your incredible ideas is the candles ties with a ribbon! Thank you for the great ideas!
