CLOCHE PARTY...and ....I don't have one!!

bwaaaaaa....
but wanting to play with ya'll, I looked around and found this little vase filled with Christmas balls and greenery...
Using this......CAN I PLEASE PLAY ?
Thanks so much to MARTY for this amazing event...

I've noticed that every single thing I put with my canisters from
McKenzie-Childs
looks good !!
**
Also, many of you realize that....
I LOVE POTTERY BARN...
I seldom, if EVER, can buy from them but I sure can get inspiration from their catalogs...
You don't have to buy PB to get ....THE LOOK !
**
Case in point....

...these beautiful, engraved pieces of flatware...
aren't they so so beautiful....and aren't they so sooooo expensive...
**
BUT....just look what our KATHY did....
She HAND STAMPED that adorable little vintage spreader.
I NEED ONE....don't you?
**
KATHY has this delightful ETSY shop with a lot of wonders
that would make fantastic gifts for Christmas...
stroll over and take a look..
and please tell her bj said HEY...
**
THIS morning...cheese toast, pineapple tidbits and coffee...
**
and STILL pouring over CHRISTMAS CATALOGS...
which I am getting by the truck load at this time...
***
PIERRE DEUX
gets my "I WANT" going every single time !!

Oh BJ your apothecary jar is just perfect for the party. I love it filled with the ornaments. Your cannisters are gorgeous too. I saw that someone else used an apothecary jar like yours and turned it upside down and placed an arrangement inside and tied a ribbon around the top. It looked stunning. So see, you really do have a cloche. Thanks so much for joining the party. I really appreciate it. Hugs, Marty

I am still laughing, what can I say you are as cute as a bug. I love it. You know Moma always says, when you are in a pinch "Improvise". You did a beautiful job.

I love the spreaders, they are just adorable, and I love those black and white checked canisters.

Thanks for sharing my sweet friend. I have had so much fun tonight.

GM BJ, how the heck are ya? Funny I have the same cloche as you and I have it filled with red oranaments. I have been so busy ever since we have gotten back from the summer, that I have not been on my blog to visit with my friends. But, I loved Christmas time so much last year that I'm going to make time to visit. I'll be catching up with your posts later , just wanted to say Hi while I'm having my coffee.

Love Ya,
Chris

I only know about Pottery Barn through the sitcom 'Friends', but I'd love to see the catalogue! I LOVE the butter spreader. Never mind about not having a cloche, you did well with what you had and you never know, perhaps Santa will bring you one. xx

Good morning, BJ.

You made me smile. I don't have a cloche either.

I believe your vase qualifies, and you always make everything lovely.

I am with you girl! One day this week so many catalogs came in the mail that I could only think of the trees that lost their lives!! Even got one from Neiman Marcus and I've never purchased anything there in my life - never will I'm sure.

I am on a mission to become a better copycat...like Penny. My goodness she's good at it...so are you come to think of it. Copying is so much more fun than paying full price. I just ooooh and ahhh over Pierre Deux also but those prices are ri-dic-u-lous.

Then on the other hand, those MC pieces you have are to die for! They look so good with everything you have. Black and white check is just timeless.

Have you gotten any of that West Texas snow I keep hearing about? Missed us here in okc...I was bummed.

I'm off to Gonzales, TX this weekend to a historic hometour with my dad. Fun times!

I could not play either as I do not own a cloche but it was fun window shopping all the blogs to see what the gals had inside the cloche for the holidays. Now that little spreader is right up my alley so I am headed over to the link to see what is for sale.
