9/11/09...CLOCHE PARTY and a SWEET SURPRISE...

This is the only cloche that I own....well, I DO have 2 more but they are the same...well, they are different sizes but none of the three are pretty.
HOWEVER...I did want to play with all of ya'll at the CLOCHE PARTY,
She has some beautiful ones...including a WIRE Cloche that I have to add to my MOST WANTED LIST...
***************************************************************
A SWEET SURPRISE....all the way from CANADA

My postman, once again, rang my doorbell and this box from CANADA was resting in my porch swing.

It was a surprise from JUDI at CRANBERRY BLOSSOM

OOO, three of the most beautiful bunches of dried flowers I've ever seen...
lavender...and yarrow....and I'm not sure what the other is...?
but I AM sure that they all are BEAUTIFUL...

I couldn't wait to get out my favorite jute twine and get all three hung...

Aren't they just lovely !!
~~~~~~
Thank you so much, Judi...I JUST LOVE THEM !!
***********************************************************************************
SEPTEMBER 11, 2001 was such a black day for all of us.
I will be thankful until my dying day for PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH and his strong support and caring way he handled the tragic event. To have such a deeply caring and strong Christian leading us, will always be a blessing that I will never take for granted, nor ever forget....
PLEASE PRAY WITH ME that this sort of terrible thing NEVER happens again to our
UNITED STATES OF AMERICA....LAND OF THE FREE.
Hi BJ,
Your "sweet surprise" was lovely indeed! Your header, with its timely reminder of tragedy, loss, and patriotism, is beautiful ... and so moving and meaningful.
Thank you so much for your visit and your thoughtful remarks on my caged bird post. You always know exactly what to say to make everyone feel special and cared for. Thank you for your kindness.
Warmest regards,
Bill
You did good, BJ! And made me want to snack!! Have you ever dipped pretzels in whipped cream cheese? Don't! You will be addicted!! Try it...
You asked about the winners of the Ugly Rooster thing and I replied under my own comments. My mind is going in 1000 places right now, but you can go there or go to the blog before the cloche post and I have the winners.
And I love your tribute to the events of 9/11 and your support for our President at the time.
xoxo
They look great hanging on your pegs! I agree, Pres. Bush handled 9/11 wonderfully. I hope we never have to go through something like that again.
Hi BJ, Your header is outstanding. A wonderful tribute to 9/11. Your text about it was perfect.
Love your yarrow and lavender from Judi. I saw some yellow flowers and took a photo of them and I didn't know what they were. Now I know it was yarrow. It dried so nice. I want some yarrow and lavender too. Yours look lovely hanging from the shelf. I could hang some on my hall tree huh?
Your cloche ideas are great. Love those cloches. The only cloche i have IS a wire one. I'm on the lookout. I always called those things a DOME. Where did the word cloche come from? It sounds French.
Our new baby poodle was born yesterday. We will get her in Nov. She is red. Oh happy dance!!!! Now we are talking about names. Excited??? Yes we are.
Happy day to you BJ.
Hugs xoxo, Jeanne
Oh BJ Sweetie, You did a beautiful job. I so love the yellow with the black polka dotted ribbon. What a beautiful punch of color. I never would have thought to put my silverware under the cloche. I am so loving that idea. Just darling. What a treat to have all those beautiful flowers sent to you, and they look so lovely hanging. It gave me an idea of what to do with my three hooks hanging near my front door. Please stop by and see my cloches. I would so love to share. Country hugs, Sherry
Hi BJ
I cannot believe how quickly your package arrived. And I’m so happy you like it. When I was looking for a box to put them in I found the cardboard box that hasd once housed wine..*s*. So I thought that would be just fine because your son grows grapes. Well….when I got to the post office they said I would have to cover up all the wine indications on the box. So she proceeded to use that tape to do so. I didn’t realize it was a hazardous material.
Anyway…they look so good on your pegboard. Enjoy. Judi *hugs*
We will always remember 9/11. Lovely post...
