"It's" name HAS to be SASSY !!

REPOSTED TO ADD THIS STORY:

once upon a time...a long, long time ago, a lot of us bloggers were on RATE MY SPACE, having such a good time. SOMEone, and I'm not naming names, said, "HEY..let's all post pictures of our ROOSTER collection." Now..you were SUPPOSED to post photos of your rooms...NOT your roosters so...a lot of nice ladies got a little mad at us sillies for playing with our roosters. We posted and posted...and our own NIKKI CRUMPET of BLAH BLAH BLAH BLOG so wanted to play the ROOSTER GAME but ...alas...she didn't have a rooster one !! Not even a baby chick....Not being one to "throw in the towel", she raced to her kitchen, flung open the freezer door and the next thing I knew, there, in bold color, FOR ALL THE WORLD TO SEE, was a photo of ....the prettiest FROZEN, CUT UP chicken you ever did see !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love all the roosters! Recently my hubby saw a wire hanger thing with 3 handpainted rooster plates hnging on it, and bought it for me. They are my first roosters, and the display hangs in my kitchen. I'd love to start adding more--I especially want some ceramic ones to put up on top of my cupboards, but everywhere I look, they are very expensive. I won't give up, though! Thanks for sharing your great photos!!!!!!!

Ooh girl, I'm running for my life! Don't come after me with that metal rooster with the pointy tail feathers!

You asked about snow on the blog. I haven't had it since last year but my post about how to get it was done on Dec. 6th 2008. Go back into my archives and hopefully the link I had there still works. Then you can have your "fairy" dust again.♥

Good morning BJ, your rooster party is awesome. I love everyone of your delightful photos. I remember the rooster parade. I wasn't posting yet and that is one of the reasons I decided to blog. Soooo much fun involved. I do love the fun of sharing and making friends this way. I didn't remember Nikki's photo. What a hoot. I wish she would start blogging regularly again.

Thanks for your visit BJ. I was too tired to finish my post last night. I added a bit more this am. These shingles have slowed me down. I am feeling much better.

Your tablescape from yesterday is beautiful. I love the lake shore theme. Your table settings are the best.

have a happy rooster visiting day.

Love ya, Jeanne

That is some rooster collection, BJ! Quite impressive. I do remember that rooster ruckus over at RMS. I don't have a single rooster either so I couldn't play then (or today). Lots of birds but no roosters. Not even a chicken! That Nikki is a character, isn't she? LOL.
